I had a chance to participate in this big concert. I couldn’t believe my eyes to see such a crowd of people enthusiastically engaged in clapping and dancing country choirs. The program was well organized in coordination between a group called “SNIT” Eritreans in Minnesota and group of artists called “Unity”, from different states. The SNIT group seems successful in mobilizing Eritreans in Minnesota at a grass root level. The concert team was highly motivated and proved themselves up to the expectation of the crowd. I am also impressed by the groups plan to continue the “Unity” concert to other states. I believe they can play important role in promoting unity in understanding and addressing the critical situation in our country.
I wish them good luck.
