the Emir is not weyane, but he understud weyane,
the worest things is we are searcing to risolve our problems
other people, while we have no harmoney between ourselves .
eritreans and ethiopians are all Habesha, which means Hembasha
they are not able for dialoge and understanding .
regarding the eritreans the heareditate it from italians , while the ethiopians
are indificult because they don’t understand italians
the Emir of Quat or Quatar is so intellignet man that he understood what is good for him and his people.
rember the future is in frica, belive me one of the country which pick faster with or without port , with or with out gold is ethiopia . the Emir know this and others.

      Oromai
I am sorry you are no more an Ethiopian. You lost that privilege when Eritrea was separated 20 years ago. Do you know why the Quatar government chose Ethiopia than Eritrea to invest, because they know with whom to make business.

      Leave Ethiopia alone!

Finally the so called dictator of the middle east, who acts the defender of democracy and human right in the Arab world ,understood that is not worth to keep further the dying Isayas, the hopeless Isayas in life supporting machine. The Amir have been supporting Isayas not because he likes Isayas but to do whatever he wants to do in Dahlak Islands. He must be understood that all unofficial agreement done by Isayas will not be legal after Isayas. It is not totally worth to break relation with Ethiopia because of his relation with Eritrea.

The government of QUATAR on the last of past years played decisive roles in mediating on some
conflicts in the region . So far , they received respect and accreditation for their honorable
accomplishment . This relationship with Ethiopia would mark a blow to ISSAYAS head , He must
admit that his lying days are over . Before , little most people including Eritrean did know
his real personality until his tricky and reckless agenda start to clarify slowly in front the
world . His problem of harboring feelings to repress than dealing in good faith to clear the
air once and for all cost the country disconnected with outside world .

  • La Verita April 12, 2013

We could only speculate @ the moment, what is interesting is the Emir flying to Ethiopia made me speculate that there must have been contact over the phone/or.. between Eritrea-Ethiopia in the presence of the EMIR. The coming months will tell us the full story. The cores of both news are for Eritrea: “issues of mutual interest to both countries” and for Ethiopia : “The signing of the Investment Agreement”.

  • Amazing April 12, 2013

Going forward Ethiopia and Eritrea will have indirect talk through Qatar. What a shame . Africans can’t understand discussion and negotiations . They have to bring a foreigner to talk .

Qatar will rent Assab and make business in Ethiopia .This is 21st century . Well , that is the only option there is for growth .

Qatar is also diversify their investment options in to agriculture and others.

    • Tamrat Tamrat April 12, 2013

And Guess what the result could be! why Qatar use all its Money and time on Peace talk between Ethiopia and Eritrea?

  • Zeray April 12, 2013

Qatar is run like well oiled machine for business. Peace with Ethiopia and peace with Eritrea is a smart business transaction for Qatar. Whereas, President Issayas is in a different world. For him to save “Badame” he would make Assab a desolate port. Political score keeping is what he strives. Even if his score is zero-on diplomatic aptitude, zero-on economic growth and development, zero-on respect and dignity of Eritreans. He is not different from Kim Jong Un or Il or the grandpa of North Korea. Almost Every body in N.Korea (5.7 million) is armed and Issays of Eritrea’s work in progress is the same. Military dictatorship is evil because it demeans citizens, and should be wiped out from the planet.

    • MightyEmbasoyra April 12, 2013

I don’t think he cares about Badme either. All he cares is to find excuse after an excuse to hold his power – until he dies. Otherwise, Eritrea has lost bigger land than Badme. I don’t hear about it from the so called opposition group either.
What happened to Alena by the way. We don’t hear from him that much these days. I used to like reading his articles.

Ethiopia has unmanned aircraft..now they are monitoring the nile dam. i got this from my friends on facebook. i think this very dangerous development

    • Amazing April 14, 2013

I wonder if you call technological advancement a dangerous situation , So do you consider stupidity normal .

If Americans has drone is it dangerous , what do you call it ?

Why do you need collages and Universities… ? To produce scientist and Engineers .

  • BreakingNews April 14, 2013

@amazing, it is not fair to ethiopia to have a drone, dont forget that if war broke out these drones will attack us, so know u got it is dangerous means. so we should hurry up and have these technologies.. otherwise these development are not good for us

    • Amazing April 15, 2013

You see “Breaking News” still you mind is full of war,Ethiopia , border,Wayane and so forth .

Try to come out of this kind of mind set . Ethiopians are trying to advance in all aspect of development whether it is economical , social or political . This helps them to see things in a border way . They know that Eritrea is always a treat to them , because Eritreans mostly lives in the past.

A new leadership has to emerge out of the current Eritrean situation , that looks a better future to Eritrea . And uses all the resources of Eritrea to the development of the country . The way we are handling things right now is not healthy .

Look at it this way , Eritrea got independence in 1991 . But if you look at it , it feels as if we are still in 1991 . But in reality it is 2013 . So the leadership in Eritrea is so outdated .

Eritreans really need change , to have a better future . Besides , it is really positive the advancement of Ethiopian Economy for sure directly or indirectly ,will support Eritrean Economy.
