In the TV interview conducted by a Swedish journalist Donald Boström, Isaias says that everything in the world, including policies in Africa, Swedish political system, media and free speech at local and global levels, elections, …literally everything is controlled by special interests in Washington and by the CIA.  He even went to the extent of asking the journalist back when he drew comparisons between the state of media in Eritrea and that of North Korea. The journalist may have been a bit intimidated at that point as he was not fortunate enough to conduct his interview via satellite link like the AJezeera journalist who was able to ridicule Isaias some time ago… Isaias also says ‘there will never be elections in Eritrea’; ‘Dawit Issak will never ever be released from prison; he even ‘doesn’t care’ where he is.  Eritrea’s economic and political system is one of the best in the world, better than that in Sweden. When it comes to diplomatic relations with that country, he said, the idea doesn’t even cross his mind for seconds during the 365 days of the year. He went on to say, even at this time, Eritrea doesn't need aid. Time and again Isaias referred to the Monarchies in Saudi Arabia and Morocco as well as ‘10,000 prisoners in Israel’, to say: ‘if others are allowed to do bad things why not us’. ..Please click the link below to have an idea what Isaias has been saying all along during May 2009, when he was being interviewed on a daily basis by more than 24 journalists, whom he invited but claimed were paid by the CIA.
