    Dear Amanuel,
You touched my Heart and consequently opened the gate for my tears to flow down my cheeks, freely. Being in my bedroom alone also made the flow of my tears more gusty.
Correlating your narration of Eritrea with the current phenomenon of coronavirus is simply genius. And your Tigrigna is beautiful,

Having said the above, I wish Eritreans would be on ONE wavelength for the benefit of ALL Eritreans, without any other parochial conditions and considerations. Very sad to say, I have my own doubt. Without going into any analytical reasoning, the reason that Issayas was able to manipulate four-five million people and dictatorially subjugate the entire population of Eritrea is because he knows the inherent WEAKNESS of Eritreans. He applied that weakness fully without mercy. THE END

But, Amanuel, let me say this: Your extraordinary effort may not be heeded but definitely History will remember your selfless effort to make Eritrea see the bright side of Life, nstead of being prisoners of parochial matters of mini-divisions. . rezen

It is the sign of times,it is a humbling season,it is God’s way of reminding us who is in charge. It took a small virus not an ICBM to bring an economic juggernauts to a screeching halt, billionaires to hide out in their enclaves couldn’t even buy the cure, some of them contracting the disease in their sterile environment, even the impostor disappeared as he often does when crisis hits home. I looked around the health care establishment where I work, with all the cutting edge technology we have we literally became defenseless in the face of this virus contemplating who is going to be the next victim,as I said before, the Lord has a plan,He will sort this one out as He did so many crisis before and let the chips fall where they may and He will give us another chance, another clean, fresh virus free season hoping we have learned our lesson. Amanuel a message well conveyed, hope it resonates across the vast planes, rolling hills ,the remote gorges and ravines, the islands and shimmering shores ………of our homeland.Thanks.
