First and foremost, KUDOS to the tireless Assena.com and Human Rights activist Elsa chyrum for bringing out One of Eritrea’s most notorious PFDJ’s ex-minister life’s legacy to the public limelight.Eritrea’s predicament is not unique. But, because it is one of ours,  it hurts deep and remains deep.

Like many beaten up (Argentina in the 70’s.. and others) countries, it is going thru that phase by non-other than its own the Visible & the Invisible killers, the evil doers, the abettors, the opportunists.

February 2012 has swallowed one of the most notorious, the highly Visible one Ato Naizghi Kiflu and now at this moment in time he, himself (lifeless body), is going thru that No deceased Eritrean have gone thru.  His dead body has been disgusted at, condemned to unnatural circumstance, even criminalized by

none other than, his own, those who have been brutally ruling Eritrea for the last 21 years now.

And, this, Ironically, is a system that Ato Naizghi Kiflu so deeply belonged to and he himself had been the most feared, ruthless, corrupt and notorious, one of the key Shaker-N-Mover of the system that he served for more than 3 decades.

His key positions within the Eritrean regime and his ruthless actions upon ordinary citizens had put him in a perpendicular position with Eritrea and its Ordinary people.

The He that he had once been the Shaker-N-Mover of the system’s top hierarchy has stirred up the gossip within the regime’s supporters the ODD reason of the –Denial of his Dead body’s- entry visa. Even those of us, who would care less what earth he would be swallowed in, are not liking one bit why the regime in Eritrea has gone this sensibly insensible & insane distant.

This surely shows how the regime (not just one man) in Eritrea is RUTHLESS, as evil as Hyena is!

Ex-Minister Ato Naizghi Kiflu had had enough chances, opportunities in life to right those wrongs that he committed for more than 30 years against his own people of Eritrea even after the dawn of Independence – May 24, 1991.

He had, at least, had 3 Opportunities to redeem himself, before his dead flesh now is fridge ’zed and his soul is swinging in absolute restless pendulum until the creator somehow intervenes and find him the earthly rest & goodbyes.

Missed Opportunity # 1 – A Lost one::  

• Period of May 24, 1991 – up until Sep 18, 2001

Mind you: His plenty of chances & opportunities of righting those wrongs that he insidiously, cruelly  committed, would not even have required of him a CONFESSION of every crimes, wrongdoings that he, individually, and he along with the people that have led the front EPLF and ultimately the original (EPLF) front’s brainchild the now Eritrea’s cartel & ruler the PFDJ regime.

But the least that he could have done while alive was finding a way to rights the wrongs.

Instead, the man, like those whom he had served, had been in absolute awe of his own narcissism world and he, like those, had absolutely had NO REASONING & RATIONALE’ left in him in recognizing his crimes and prepare to right the wrongs.

Matter-of-factly, adding salt to Injury, he not only continued to abuse the ordinary people of Eritrea but also he was D’MAN of the hour, the key Propagandist & chief-architect of the Propaganda grinding-minister that eventually paved the way and prepared the gate-of-hell for the disappearance of his former comrades, the G-15 and the then bold private press that itself became the victim of the circumstance on that autumn’s September 18, 2001.

The man, back then, was totally saturated by power of Authority and narcissism and it never crossed his mind that a day – a D-Day would have eventually come as time dynamically runs its natural course as it naturally and inevitably does.

And the D-Day appears to have arrived wrapped in a gruesome cruelty as he once was, totally pinning down his soul under his dead flesh –refusing to let his flesh go 6 feet under mother earth. This has gotta be the work of none other than the C.R.E.A.T.O.R !

This has gotta be the Divine power that is absolutely in absolute divine speaking terms! It has gotta be for those of us who believe in the creator’s existence. And the mothers of those Heroes & Heroines’ grief must have been overheard by the creator and perhaps, in God all is possible, perhaps Eritrea may see its inner freedom in the not so far distant. Amen !

Missed Opportunity # 2 – A Lost one for him & his Family:: 

• From Sep 18, 2001 – up until that day activist Elsa Churym made him fear justice

The moment he had left Eritrea and arrived in England – up until the day activist Elsa Chrym started uncovering his crimes and prepping to challenge him in the court of the United Kingdom’s, he had had plenty of Space & Time to reason, to do a soul-search if there is such a thing in those who in a premeditative manner commit a insidious crime by deliberately destroying, annihilating, liquidating those humans who may have dared to challenge them or even simply those who simply disobey or didn’t bow for their authority (sere’) !

Remember, Ato Naizghi’s family, from whichever wide-angle you try to rationalize it, & his supporters are in it –the crimes- thick & thin with him! Here is how & why:

Fact 1:

Being his immediate family, they have been the direct benefactors of his resources without caring to know or questioning how it came about and enjoyed it to the max just like all other (3^rd world Oligarchy family members) . The Irony of all that, while those Eritreans mothers who lost their Hero & heroines children to either Gedli or its Halewa Sewra security apparatus have had neither the fruit of independence nor compensation that would sustain them to go on and live with grace and decency.

As if it isn’t bad enough the earthly grief and pain of being the main losers and Insults have been added to their wounds from the Gedli leaders & its chairman.  (ንጉሆ ንጉሆ በጊዕ   … )  .. remember all that !? …

Yet, Ato Naizghi’s family has not only become the direct benefactors of all D’MAN’s position but also became part of Eritrea’s new rulers, the oligarchies, the plutocrats that have controlled the resources, the wealth. And they have been enjoying all the amenities that is brought with it.. the privilege.. the in-out travel (when all of us can’t) and live lavishly in the West, whereas the mothers of the martyred heroes/heroines couldn’t even afford a decent meal for more than 3 decades, let alone lavish life.

And as you the enlightened, elucidated readers with sense of Justice, with orient of –Injustice Everywhere is Injustice Anywhere- , you know the following;

In the most advanced countries, THE WEST, the fact that its citizens are endowed with Individuality, Independent mindedness of these Human Qualities, attributes and sensibilities that serve them in:

Fact 1-1: doing the right thing standing by the oppressed creatures in fear of the almighty creator.

Fact 1-2: not suppressing their conscience even if the crime committer is a family member

Fact 1-3:Also, by law, a country that is ruled by a rule-of-law, it would require them to unequivocally side with the law & report the crime instead of being loyal to criminals based on relation, region, religion,.. etc .. which is the case in our deeply troubled, entrenched Eritrea’s societal obligation.

And thus leaving Ato Naizghi’s family out-of-the-equation and immunizing them of quietness even when he was out of PFDJ’s danger, even if they don’t know the details of the crime, or their deliberate ignorance is No excuse.

a)     their being recipient of the lavish resources that Ato Naizghi, as he had been part of the regime’s Shakers-N-Movers for so long and unfairly accumulating using his position and authority puts his family at the –accomplice of criminals History book of Eritrea-.

And, sensibly & culturally, let the mothers (disregard the fathers for now) of the Heroes & Heroines mother that lost it all be the judge of Ato Naizghi’s family.

Opportunity 3 – A 3^rd chance – will it be the worst?

The moment After activist Elsa Churym started uncovering his crimes, the man, already now totally decapitated of poor health and chained-down in a wheel-chair, while waiting for his creator to take him down 6 feet under, had had the BIGGEST CHANCE on earth to be able to prepare a —Eritrea’s Historical crime dossier– that should and must reveal all crimes of all mother evil that had been done upon Eritreans and Eritrea.

If he, Ato Naizghi Kiflu, before his death, has already written the dossier and has already handed it over to his family, then without THE slightest doubt, the people of Eritrea might forgive his crimes but not cleanse his Historical evil hands that have been saturated and sopped with bloods, along his cartel partners.

Time is the reveal-er and the reveller of the –doing the right thing- and we shall wait and see if History has indeed be done.

I hate to be A pessimist but the probability of a cruel criminal that had chosen to serve a cartel at the highest level from the onset to suddenly drift to reason & rationale’ to do the right thing is –expecting a offspring of a mule from a mule mating a mule!

Let me pray and let time proves me wrong. And Let the mule mates with the donkey or horse and so we get that mule offspring, albeit it’s stubborn nature. At least we can say we get a mule.

We just have seen too many criminal ShaleQ Dawit Wolde-Giorgissoch, always fooling us with their crocodile Red-Tears only for us, fools, with time, to inevitably discover it as White-Tears instead!

And so the secrets that had been etched onto their brain like a ROM by their masters doesn’t suddenly become a RAM and us, fools, expecting it to start flushing the dirty secrets and crimes. The dirty secrets would ONLY be forced to be flushed out as mother earth receives their dead flesh that is gracefully put, by their family members, 6 feet under to that freezing cold place that we all eventually, inevitably go to.
