Whoever is talking in this video was crossing the line (my opinion). I wish and hope his boldness and courage will be directed in to driving the cause for the refugees! If I were an Israel and heard such piercing words, I would be wondering a bit. This is not to say that what the refuges are going though is anything easy. Channel your energy and effort (Mr. Speaker) in driving what is needed rather than repeatedly pointing fingers. Bring facts and make that a uniting front. Remember, one thing, You would not be doing what you are doing in Israel (marching for refugee status and fairness and of course the implementation of the 1951 frame of work for refugees!) if you were in other neighboring countries. Be thankful for those Israelis who are supportive of your plight.
I also saw a single flag at the stage? That speaks a volume. Keep at it “with consideration for your words” and you will be granted the basic fairness God granted to all humanity.
God be with you all – Stay united and be thankful for getting a chance to hammer your point to the international community and the Israeli Gov. Such move in Eritrea or any other country might have gotten you all – nowhere at the least. God bless you all.

I totally disagree with you. This young man is great communicator. He has taken few pages from those that stubble for their right. There is not an iota of disrespect he demonstrated but oozed confidence. Remember he and the rest of the committee are on the ground not you. This is the exact eloquence and confidence our youth need. You make no relevance to compare it with the neighborhood country. Israel is considered a developed Mediterranean country that claims a democratic country.

The speaker needed to be careful about the words he was using, the way he was explaining himself.
He should have been speaking with a little sense of personality.
He should have known that he was speaking on behalf of the mass refugees not on his behalf.

This scenario it creates a lot impression in my mind. I don´t know from which point i begin. But first because i found the speaker very interesting personality, very confident impressing good orator, i wish a little i know about his biography. I mean how long he stay in Isreal, what he doing in Eritrea before and what he doing now in Israel, either through Amanuel Iyasu like interview form , or from the people who knows him well, or self if be able to introduce us was fine. The reason i am curious to know about him is; so that i enable to know such courage speech in strange country, its source and motive what it is because i like to know is.
In my view the reason he confidently was speaking i guess two things, either some pro refugee Israels because gave him encouragement and advised whatever to speak freely regarding theme could be, or from own understanding and conviction also could be. But, if it is from own conviction i see a little luck of experience in his speech, because over a limit he was using his freedom of speech, which i fear it could be dangerous for him. I mean no question from his right freedom of speech everybody understands other side, how Israel as is very democratic civilized nation it is, such freedom of speech i even never experienced in Europe or US when Ertrawi talking freely. However in every country because there are few touchy individuals when their nation or leader condemned hear by foreigners couldn´t tolerate; the good orator it was better if a little be able to take care. This my brotherly advice from experience.

The other impression which make me disappointed i would say, because the speaker about the Eritrean cancer, who is Isayas how to be avoided because a single word not emphasized, or brought for discussion it was. If all of us be it in western or those specially in Israel feel comfort with the situation we are living; believe me our people suffer not only continuing, but our nation existence could be also questionable. If we all not safe our land, who else could be rescue our nation and people then? As about refugee case, everybody do not worry about. Every Western nation about 6-10% of population needs foreign workers, depends on but defiantly you Eritreans, if you not clean the street or wash teller who else can then do the job? I remember two or three years ago in France when President Sarkozy was president in similar situation because against foreign workers was a crackdown, a lot garbage workers was stopped their job. I saw the news one elder French woman when outrageously shouting at the police. She said, “Please leave alone these poor people! we are all going sick because of the garbage, are they not at most who doing that job? She is really an honest poor people defender? Isn´t she?” i found her cool! So for me all scenario in this regard is only theater. If you man enough, think how for once and all the Eritrean problem how to be resolved. But if that it is everybody choices, it is up to you. Much fan!
