I think I can understand why mesinas asked this question (let’s not make it a big deal).
As you can see the top people on Isayas’ round (including himself) are not Eritreans. Since this idiot guy, Girma, is also acting as a great slave for isayas, Mesinas suspected he might be one of them.
If we take this question in America, say where is Bill C. from. The answer will be simple and short – Little Rock Ak.
Let’s not make a big deal when someone asks where any of Eritrean person is from. It is just a place. Let’s feel comfortable and see as it is – which is a simple question.

  • Dawit Meconen May 30, 2013

Here is the problem: The majority of Eritreans, at home and abroad, are fed up with the followers of both Isaias Afewerqi and the so called “opposition”. The reason: mistrust because they are intuitively aware that the two factions are, wittingly or unwittingly , serving the interest of Tegaru, and thus against their own country and people.

For instance, Can the Eritreans, who demonstrated In Addis Abeba against Isaias Afewerqi brutal tyranny, be trusted to be free of woyane manipulation?

Absolutely, No. Why? Because treacherous woyane, who deported hundreds of thousands Eritreans from every corner of Ethiopia in a manner worse than the Nazis did to the Jews, cannot be expected to do any good for Eritreans.

What about Isaias Followers? The answer is the same.

What then is the solution? Discard Isaias and woyane; get united under the slogan of United We Stand, Divide We Fall.

    • MightyEmbasoyra May 30, 2013

      Dawit,
You may have a point here. I believe for the many fractions on the opposition side is because of the Ethiopia’s hand. Many people believe it is because of Isayas’s undercover – pretend to be on the opposition side, but I think Woyane’s hand is much bigger than the so called undercovers.
Now, what is your proposition on how to fight both, equally?
Identifying the problem gives you 50% of the solution. From now on, let’s pay attention on the solution.

      • Dawit Meconen June 1, 2013

        MightyEmbasoyra,

We have to adopt the view that Woyane and Isaias Afewerqi are the same and are the crafters of the current Eritrean diplomatic, political, economic etc.problems.

Their apparent contradiction is a mirage predicated upon plunging Eritreans into bottomless pit of mortal factionalism.

The die hard followers of the so called Eritrean opposition and those of Isaias Afewerqi are unwittingly serving the same interest, the interest of Abai Tigrai.

My solution: expose the true identity and history of Isaias and woyane by factual and historical analysis.

Woyane, although it is using Dr. Adhanom and Bereket Simon, both of Eritrean descent, as a draw young Eritreans into its trap, it is not very difficult to find its anti-dote.

The hard one is Isaias Afewerqi but he too has achilles-tendon; many Eritreans think he is genuine Hamaseinay, and therefore once his true Tigrai identity is exposed sufficeintly, we will finifh him off by exposing his dirty history.

I don’t know what your issues are. Your messages are, most of the times toxic. You never offerd solution. You have no respect fot the Eritrean people. Now, you have the audacity to insult the Eritrean, who demonstrated in Addis Abeba. For your info., these Eritrean are our brothers and sisters who are forced to leave their country and famlies. The Eritrean in Addis Abeba, they don’t need to be manipulated by any one. They didn’t go to Ethiopia for vacations like the PFDJ operatives in diaspora do. The demonstraters went to Ethiopia, because they have no where to turn. Have you talk to them, how they feel, the fact that they are criying for freedom and basic right in Ethiopia? Do you know how they feel? after paying dearly with their peoples’ lives, now they are in Ethiopia because they have no where to go.

No matter how you put it, Woyane will never be responsible for the distraction of our country and the suffering of our people. Woyane are not Eritrean, thus can’t be responible for Eritrean. If you are insisting about Woyane being responsible for our suffering, then what you are saying is that Eritrea and Eritrean people are not capable of Gov. ourselves. Therefore, you are implying that Eritrea should not be independent country. Stop talking as Eritrea and Ethiopia are the same country. Each country have their own leaders and they are responsible for their own people respectively.

You talked about the deportion of 70,000+ Eritrean from Ethiopia. I think you tend to act naive when it is inconvenient for you. Let me refresh your memory. Mr Afewerki, while beating the drum war, or just being iresponsible and reckless, about the saftey of the Eritrean people, gave the Woyana Gov. the green light to do what the Woyana did. I DO NOT KNOW ANY LEADER IN HUMAN HISTORY, WHO DID WHAT MR AFEWERKI DID TO HIS OWN PEOPLE. HOW EVIL, TWISTED AND RECKLESS CAN YOU BE, TO TIP AN ENEMY TO ATTACK YOUR OWN PEOPLE. What Mr Afewerki said right before the deportation, (paraphrased by me)IF WOYANA START TO DO ANY THING, THE ERITREAN IN SIDE THE COUNTRY (ETHIOPIA) WILL TAKE CARE OF HIM. After that he did no preparation, to make sure Eritrean who were coming home were ok. The rest is history.

        Genet ጠራዕራዕ,

Here is some advice for you

        1. You lack knowledge political or otherwise
        2. You are emotionally charged
        3. You struggle with the English language, because what you write always seems to be out of context. It is so clear that you did not understand what people write
        4. You don’t seem to be able to FOCUS, you just wander everywhere
        5. You contradict yourself all the time, but you don’t seem to notice

All in all you are poor in everything. Try to learn first. Go to school or something.

        • MightyEmbasoyra May 31, 2013

          Asmara2,
What I can give you credit is that you are consistently wrong. In that case, you are focused.
Also, you write very good English – so do many millions of natives but they can’t do that with it – just like you.
Don’t try to pretend you are in synch with Dawit.
Dawit is simply blaming Woyane as equally as Isayas. He is just stating the Eritrean people are sandwiched between two waynes. Are you in synch with that?

Yes, Genet is emotional. Can you blame her? You know why? Because she cares too much about Eritrea. I couldn’t say that about you, at all.
Because of people like you riffraffs, who keep repeating what that damn tembienay isayas tells you, the country is shuttered.
You an alike are good for nothing. Get lost.

          • Salim May 31, 2013

            Mighty,

He writes English very well and he can think properly.

        • MightyEmbasoyra May 31, 2013

          Salim,
You made a lot of english speakers happy.
As you might guess, most of us speak fluent tigrigna but take a look how we think.
English is just a language – not a level of intelligence.

        • Genet May 31, 2013

I know you went to PFDJ’s school of propaganda. And you became Zombie and robot. See the different between you and I is that I am human who feels my peoples’ suffering. You, on the other hand are, air head zombie who is here day in day out, to defend the dictator’s crime against the Eritrean people. What is new with you? Not a thing, but running your filthy mouth.

It is not my English the problem. IT IS YOU PIN HEAD. YOUR CLOGGED UP BRAIN, JUST CAN’T COMPREHEND FACTS. Why are you here any way? You are an irritant. NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY YOU DON’T MATTER. NO ONE EXPECT YOU TO BE INTELLIGENT. I feel sorry for you.

First, Why don’t you have a gut and tell us your name?
Second, Tell us, WHY DID MR AFEWERKI RECKLESSLY ENDANGERED OUR PEOPLE?
Could be because they are Eritrean and he is not?
Why did he do it? tip the Woyana to take care of them. Why????
For a change, can you focus on the issues at hand, which is the suffering of our people.

            Genet ጠራዕራዕ,

Can’t stop laughing. Your stupidity doesn’t know any boundaries.
This concerns Dawit Meconen’s comment and your stupid reply. You see, he was talking about one thing, but your reply is totally different thing. You either do not understand what he wrote, or you are simply projecting like a juvenile who cannot focus on the subject matter, and rushes to reply without reading the question. Or worse, your hate is clouding your brain, rendering it useless, so much so that you give the same reply, with the same force, to different topics and issues.
See, I did not even address Dawit Meconen’s comment. Did not even cast my support or my objection.
I am just pointing out your stupidity and, hey I am laughing my heart out!
Now, go back and re read Dawit’s comment first and then your reply. If after doing that you do not laugh at your reply, or if you do not shrink down in shame and embarrassment, then you are more retarded than we thought you are – you are useless!

      • Dawit Meconen June 1, 2013

        Genet,
Isaias Afewerqi lit the gas woyane brought, the manifestation of Libi Tigrai Twi Tway.

        • Genet June 2, 2013

          Dawit
I agree with your point that the problem in our country is caused by the Woyane in Ethiopia and the Woyane within Eritrea. The Eritrean people have to be united to discard both of them. I get it. My question is, why do you have problem with the followers of the opposition? Don’t you think the followers of the opposition are the good people of Eritrea who want change? Why do you speak as the Isaias Afewerki’s follower and the opposition’s follower are both wrong? You acknowledges that the Eritrean in Eritrea are suffering. I want to believe your acknowledgment set you apart from the PFDJ’s operatives. Having said that, your statement about the demonstrators in Addis Abeba is confusing. You said, “For instance, the Eritrean, who demonstrated in Addis Abeba against Isaias Afewerqi bruthal tyranny, be trusted to be free of Woyane manipulation? Absolutely, NO” Do you think, your statement could cast doubt on their intention to tell their story?

You said “Discard Isaias and Woyane, get united under the slogan of “United we stand Divide we Fall” How do you planing to do that? If you believe both, the PFDJ supporters and People who are voicing for change are the same? how are you going to united people? You know, some thing has to give. Either the PFDJ’s supporters have to come to their senses and support their people, or we the people, who are asking for change have to shut up and take what ever we are given by PFDJ system. I think we need to be careful not to demonize the Eritrean people who are standing up for their right. If we do, then we are no different from the PFDJ’s operative dogs.
I would appreciate your answers to my questions? Please talk to me out of my skeptical mind about your position about our country.

The aim here is to snatch you free from your pimp – the Funny hat(Fitsum), you are being led by an idiot – of course you would end up an idiot.

Who knows, by the time I snatch you free, may me you would help Funny hat to get out of Woyanies’ ass too. You never know.

Here is a repeat of my first lesson “READ AND UNDERSTAND THE QUETION OR COMMENT – BEFORE YOU START TO WRITE ANYTHING HERE”

It is an advice – use it, it is Free

          • Dawit Meconen June 3, 2013

            Genet,
Thank you for the inquiry.First and foremost, I would like to assure that I am Eritrean patriot, who believe that the Number Obligation of any Eritrean is to Protect and Safeguard the Sovereignty her/his country, no matter of the scope and duration of the problem.

And the Number Two obligation is: to recognise that woyane is the Number One Enemy of our country, no matter of its seductive sugar-coated and phony concern.

1.How do we discard Isaias and woyane?
The frist step is ” Know thy Enemy”.
The second, rally the people around your idea using logical argument.
The third, mercilessly expose enemy accomplicies etc.

2.Why We have objections against the so called ” Opposition”?

They are enemy accomplices, or Trojan Horses, no matter what they utter.
It is absolute logical contradiction for a patriotic Eritrean to be well received by his/her Number One Enemy, woyane. Therefore, those who, under the protection of woyane, demonsterated on the street of Addis Abeba, must be woyane Trojan Horses.

            3. Can my statement cast doubt on their intention to tell their stories?

Since you admitted that Isaias Afewerqi and woyane are the same, your question is meaningless. If they tell to woyane in Addis Abeba about their suffering by woyane in Eritrea, they will simply be laughed at.

“What then is the solution? Discard Isaias and woyane; get united under the slogan of United We Stand, Divide We Fall.”

How can you “stand united” when some of you stink more Arab than the stinko Arab and burn your own languages and heritage as the Arabs rape you and sell your kidneys. If you hate yourself, then you can not have a nation of your own. You can only be a good Abid as Militia put it.

    • MightyEmbasoyra May 31, 2013

      Kabbire,
You sounding mad here. I am not sure who you are asking. I am not sure that who in his/her right mind would prefer to be an arab – unless he/she is already an arab. However, if they prefer to talk arabic, that doesn’t make them arabs. By the same token, I am not english.

It’s not just a matter of negativity and fear. There are historical examples of how people who were not Arabs became arabized. The real Arabs, are only those from the Arabian Peninsula.

        A definition from Wikipedia.

“Arabization or Arabisation (Arabic: تعريب‎ taʻrīb) describes a growing cultural influence on a non-Arab area that gradually changes into one that speaks Arabic and/or incorporates Arab culture and Arab identity. It was most prominently achieved during the 7th century Arabian Muslim conquests which spread the Arabic language, culture, and—having been carried out by Arabian Muslims as opposed to Arab Christians or Arabic speaking Jews—the religion of Islam to the lands they conquered. The result: some elements of Arabian origin combined in various forms and degrees with elements taken from conquered civilizations and ultimately denominated “Arab”, as opposed to “Arabian”.
After the rise of Islam in the Arabian Peninsula, Arab culture and language spread through trade with African states, conquest, and intermarriage of the non-Arab local population with the Arabs, in Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Iraq and the Sudan. The peninsular Arabic language became common among these areas; dialects also formed. Also, though Yemen is traditionally held to be the homeland of Arabs, most[1] of the population did not speak Arabic (but instead South Semitic languages) prior to the spread of Islam.”

There are counter-movements in North Africa:

“Berberism (Berber: Timmuzɣa) or Amazighism[1] is a Berber political-cultural movement of ethnic, geographic, or cultural nationalism, started mainly in Kabylia, Algeria, and in Morocco and later spread to the rest of Berber countries in North Africa. A Berber group, the Tuaregs, are in rebellion against the West African country of Mali as of 2012, and have established a temporarily de facto independent state called Azawad and identifies itself as “Berber”.
The Berberist movement in Algeria and Morocco is in opposition against cultural Arabization and the pan-Arabist political ideology, while in Azawad, it is in opposition to perceived discrimination against Berbers on the part of black African majority groups”

“To a lesser extent, Saudi Arabia supported the Eritrean cause in the war of independence
against Ethiopia (1962-1991) by financing the guerrillas but also by facilitating entry and
residence for exiles and guerrilla fighters. Arab countries in general, and the Gulf countries and
Saudi Arabia in particular, supported the Eritrean guerrillas from the 1960s to the 1990s on an
ideological basis and allowed Eritrean refugees to enter and settle in the oil-rich countries using
migration politics as an asylum policy by proxy. Eritrean refugees were considered as Arabs
oppressed by a colonial Christian power (Ethiopia) supported by both Israel and the United
States until the Marxist revolution led by Haile Mariam Mengestu in 1974. Their struggle was
understood in a geopolitical context and was seen by the Arab states around the Red Sea as a key
strategic move toward protecting the “Arab identity of the Red sea,” which they consider an
        “Arab lake.”
lxi Rather than straightforward political support through explicit asylum rights, the
stance of the Saudi government was to welcome Eritrean migrants; in turn, the financial flows of
remittance from the kingdom became a crucial source of support for the freedom fighters.
Even though the historiography remains controversial on the emergence of an Arab
political culture of the guerrilla, the intellectual, financial, and political connections between the
first political movements promoting independence and the Arab world is clearly established.
Arabicized elites from Eritrea gathered within the Muslim league in 1946, the Harekat Tahrir
Iritriya (Eritrean Liberation Movement) in 1958, and the Eritrean Liberation Front, and started to 15
claim autonomy from the Ethiopian domination that was formally established over the former
Italian colony after the British army withdrew in 1952.
lxii The essence of the political culture of
the guerrilla has drawn the attention of historians and political scientists up to now.lxiii Primary
sources and historical accounts in Arabic strongly defend the idea of an Arab identity of the
independence struggle based on the support granted to the guerrilla by neighboring Arab
countries. The discourse produced by political leaders in the 1960s and the 1970s was strongly
influenced by Arabism and by the ideological resources it provides for claiming independence.
        lxiv
Therefore, the presentation of Eritrea as an Arab country and of Eritreans as Arabs was
acknowledged as a regional political commonplace, which led to the blooming of propaganda
and pseudo-historical literature on Eritrea’s “Arabness.”

There is a big difference between Arabic and English. Arabization leads to a ‘fictional ‘ Arab identity with its possible ugly consequences like Darfur,South Sudan,The Nubian mountains and Kordofan.

  • Truly truly i say to you May 31, 2013

MightyEmbasoyra, it is good to let pay attention for solution. The primery easiest solution is not the Ethiopian card not even the useless oppositions effort, but individual actions like hero Wedi Ali deed. Namly to persecute the main evil mercenary Isayas alone will be brought a dramatic change in Eritrea. The epidemic that is going destroying our nation and people will be stopped if Isayas assassinates is only. For that like i said there is no a need of mass mobilization to fight with whole Eritreans, but a group of less than three- seven people consultation plan and strategy to take that needed action. Pasta!

    • MightyEmbasoyra May 31, 2013

      Truly,
      Amen to that!

      Truly
“no need of mass mobilization to fight with whole Eritreans, but a group of less than three-seven people consultation plan and strategy to take that needed action” Then What??
Removing the dictator is 1/4 of the problem being solved. I don’t think three-seven people will deliver the fundamental change we need. With few people in charge of removing him, there is a high possibility of repeating what he did. Unless, of course, the few people are representative of all Eritreans. Just my thought.

One of the best ways to fight higdef is to expose who they are and their true identity. So not only about Girma Asmerom, but also about all these blind supporters must be disclosed to the eritrean people who they are and their true identity. Once they are exposed who they are, they will start to hide under their beds.
So good job guys try to report and disclose the true identity of all those who are supporting Isayas the number one enemy of eritreans.

Keep exposing higdef and their identity and their despicable crimes over the eritrean people.

    • Genet June 2, 2013

      Mengis
      I agree!
Exsposing who they are is the best and quickest way to get rid of them. So we can get our country back.

Is this what militia wrote on burning Eritrean languages?

    MightyEmbasoyra wrote,

“Why do you use English while criticizing Arabic.”

Anyone has a right to use any language to communicate, I have no problem if you use Mongolian let alone Arabic, Amhraic or Italian, a language across from the Red Sea. The issue is that you have no right to push any alien language in Eritrea as a Legal Language of the land by burning Eritrean languages. The main word here is legal, as I can not use Tigrinia or Tigre the legal language of Sudan, Sweden or Saudi Arabia. Arabic language is not Eritrea’s legal responsibility. Arabic language is the legal responsibility of 22 rich Arab nations. Eritrea’s main legal and natural responsibility is primarily to worry about its own languages.

Who gave the so called Jebha “elite” the right to burn Eritrean languages? Did the Tigre, Kunama and Afar people give a binding legal permission or consultation under a democratic process to these Jeha “elites” under Jebha’s Baathist Arab “democracy” to burn any Eritrean language? Why are you throwing the word “democracy” in the life history of an undemocratic and fascistic Baathist Arab Organization group? Are you asking Eritreans to” respect the wishes” of some inferiority laced fascist servants to burn Eritrean languages?
Does democracy also include burning Eritrea’s own indigenous languages to promote a foreign Arabic language as some Eritreans are doing at the cost of our own heritage and identity?
Does democracy include giving legal protection to alien language like Arabic in a non-Arab nation as Jebha did?
Does democracy include shirking the responsibility of providing the Afar, Kunama, Bilin … languages a legal protection in their own land while an alien language Arabic is enjoying full legal protection in Eritrea?
Does democracy also include telling a young kunama and Afar girl that her language is worthless unless she speaks in foreign Arabic language?
Whose agenda is burning Eritrean languages, heritage and identity?

Here is what you will see according to their wishes:
History repeated itself again 28 years later after the second organizational conference of the ELF/Jebha in 1975. Educational books, which were prepared in the Tigré language by teachers at the Sawa training center, were ordered to be burned by the Executive Committee, citing the reason that it was a conspiracy directed against the status and prominence of the Arabic language in Eritrea. The leadership of the ELF gave orders not to prepare any more educational texts in the Tigré language henceforth.

    Malisha,
Just pick one line – I am not sure what his purpose is. If my moslem Eritreans want arabic as their official language, I support them – happily. Since I have elected to be tigrigna and they didn’t object to that.
    What’s wrong with that?

      Constitution will protect every citizen.

  • MightyEmbasoyra May 31, 2013

Who are those? I am not sure who you are worried from? Those people whose to be arabic as their language, they will write books in arabic. Isn’t that the whole purpose? If your language is tigrigna, they will not impose on you.
Your statement is vague to me.
Who is trying to tell you to get rid of your language and use arabic – if that’s was not your preferred one.

I thought you are fighting to topple isayas and implement the constitution.
If that is the case, Language is part of it.

    • Kabbire June 1, 2013

I want my languages to be protected. Those who burn Eritrean languages can not protect my languages. My language can be Kunama, Afar or Bilen … It deserves full legal protection in its own land. This is the issue.
No Arab slave has any right to burn Eritrean languages or to discard my language as they did before.

Whose agenda is burning Eritrean languages, heritage and identity?
