ዘኪርኩምናስ ረሲዕናኩም! ኣንቱም ውጻእ መዓት ኣብ ክራማት ኵናት ዝተረፍኩም ካብ ሞት ሲኦል ‘ዶ ኣርኪቡልኩም ቀውዒ ምስ ሓሰደት እምነት ተፈቲሓ ጥልመት ምስ ተኻሕሰት ሰላም ተዘሪጋ ፍትሒ ምስ ተኣስረት፣ ግደፉዎ ‘ሞ ሓመድ ሓፋሽ ዋላ መዘናኹም ብዓል ከብዲ ምላሽ፣ ‘ቲ ሰላም ስለዝበለኩም ጥራይ ተሓጕሱ ኣዕጽምታ ለቒቓ ዝተመጠት ነብሱ፣ ኢዱ ኣብ ጅብኡ ክሳዱ

ኣየ’ወ ‘ቲ ትሕቲ ከልቢ ለጠቕ ኢሉ
ዝሰገደልኩም ‘ኳ ንጣኦት ኣምሲሉ፣
ተሰምዐ ደኣ ክዋራዘ
ዓሰርተ ጸለመ እናመሃዘ፣
ኣንቱም ሰባት፣
ሰብ ዘኪርኩም ሰብ ረሲዑኩም
እንታይ ጉድና እንታይ ጉድኩም
ቆርዩ ኢድና ቆርዩ ኢድኩም
ተኻሒድና ክሒድናኩም
ዓማጺና ጎሲዑ ደም፣
‘ቶም እሱራት ይመስሉ ቅዩዳት
‘ቶም ፍቱሓት ይመስሉ ንጹሃት
ከመይ ዲዩ’ንታ ነገር ዓለም
ዘካርን ረሳዕን ዘደናግር ፍርዶም
ሓደ ክንሱ ‘ቲ መቕጻዕቶም፣

Yes, WE SHALL NEVER FORGET THEM! They epitomize our second generation of heroes and heroines- real freedom fighters! The first generation was the likes of Kebire, Ibrahim Sultan and Woldeab Woldemariam, a generation of magnanimous democrats. Now is the time for such 3rd generation of heroes and heroines.
