ምእንቲ’ ‘ዚ ኢሳይያስ፣ ነቲ ንህዝቢ ኣሰኪሑ ንመንእሰያት ኤርትራ ብቓፍላያት ስደት ዘጽርር ዘሎ፣ ንማሕበረሰብ ዓለም ኣደንጽዩ ንሃገርና ምስ ሰሜን ኮርያ ከወዳድራ ኣገዲዱዎ ዘሎ ህሉው ኩነታት፣ ሕጊ ኣልቦነትን ዕንደራን፣ ሕሰም መነባብሮን ውርደትን ህዝቢ ፈጺሙ ከይለኸፈ ኣብ ውልቃዊ ፋንታዚ ጥሒሉ ኣመሪካ ክብል ምምሳዩ፣ ካብ ስሕታን ኣእምሮ ሓሊፉ ካልእ መግለጺ ከምዘይብሉ ዝጠቐሱ ተዓዘብቲ፣ ዋላ ኳ ርብዒ ናጽነት ፍልይ ዝበለ ኣጋጣሚ እተነበረ፣ ካብ ውልቀመላኺ ኢሳይያስ ዝተፈልየ ስጉምቲ ዝተጸበዩ እንተነይሮም ዕሸላውነት ዘጥቅዖም ጥራይ ክኾኑ ከምዘለዎም ኣረዲኦም።
በንጻሩ እቲ ብብደዐ ኢሳይያስ ዝረብረበ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ፣ ነቲ ዛጊት ዘይተማልአ ባህግን ሕልምን ናጽነት ናይ ምምላእ ዕማም ኣብ ኢዱ ምህላዉ ብምምልካት፣ ለውጢ ብምምጻእ ሽግሩ ፈቲሑ ሕጋውን ዲሞክራስያውን ስርዓት ብምትካል ነታ ክብርቲ ሃገሩ ናብ ጎደና ሰላምን ስልጣኔን ክመልሳ ከምዝግባእ ኣተሓሳሲቦም።

This delusional man finished his speech with ‘አብ ወርቃዊ ኢዮቤልዩ የራክበና’. He still thinks he will not only be alive after 25 years but he will be in power.
He is so out of reality that his audience (poor eritreans)have no idea about all the 1941 politics or history he was lying about. Mostly because these things have been removes from the syllabus of schools. And by the way who cares about 1941 when you don’t have electricity and water at home, when all you hear is bad news of your children drowning and disappearing everyday.

From start to finish he spoke about ‘መኽተ’ against US domination, accusing them of instigating every war the dictator he himself had started against neighboring countries, including his cousins in Ethiopia.
It was very clear that Higdef has run out of the usual “ይጽናዓሎ” sort of excuses we heard for a quarter of a century. What remains of all the empty promises is nothing but, the so-called Mekhete, which does not mean anything other than total failure of the ruling criminal junta. No mention of Constitution, economic or political solution to the deep crisis in which the country is finding itself. Looking at the images of ordinary people who were present in Harnet square, the poverty is appalling. The officers who were well dressed in military attire, many of them the old guard of the regime, who in one way or the other make a living protecting the brutal regime, looked aging and tired. The public was mostly made of children, ladies and old men. As entire generation of young people left the country in search of peace and better future away from their killers and jailers. It’s normal these days in rural Eritrea to call the military to help them dig a burial place when someone passes away, because even the villages are empty of young people.
