ርኢቶይ ንኤርትራዊ ሃገራዊ ባይቶ ንዲሞክራስያዊ ለውጢን ንኣባላት መሪሕነታት ባይቶን ፈጻሚ ኣካልን

ዝኸበርኩም ኣባልት መሪሕነት ባይቶን፡ ፈጻሚ ኣካልን፡ ከምኡ መላእ ኣባላትን ናይ ኤርትራዊ ሃገራዊ ባይቶ ንዲሞክራስያዊ ለውጢ (ኤሃባዲለ)፡ ልባዊ ሕውነታዊ ሰላምታይ ኣቐድመልኩም። ኣብዚ ፍሉይ ሓላፍነታዊ መድረኽ ኤርትራዊ እነብር ስለዘለኹ፤ በቲ ከም ህዝቢ ወሪዱና ዘሎ ዘየላቡ ኣሰቓቒ እዋንን፡

ዝኸበርኩም ኣባልት መሪሕነት ባይቶን፡ ፈጻሚ ኣካልን፡ ከምኡ መላእ ኣባላትን ናይ ኤርትራዊ ሃገራዊ ባይቶ ንዲሞክራስያዊ ለውጢ (ኤሃባዲለ)፡ ልባዊ ሕውነታዊ ሰላምታይ ኣቐድመልኩም። ኣብዚ ፍሉይ ሓላፍነታዊ መድረኽ ኤርትራዊ እነብር ስለዘለኹ፤ በቲ ከም ህዝቢ ወሪዱና ዘሎ ዘየላቡ ኣሰቓቒ እዋንን፡ ማዕረ-ማዕረ እዚ ከኣ፡ በቲ ጠንባስ ህልው ኩነታት መሪሕነት ኤሃባዲለን፡ ኣብ ዘየቅስን ድርብ ሻቕሎት ሰጢመ፡ ብድሩት ዓቅመይ ከይተሓጸርኩ፡ ናይ ርኢቶን ምሕጽንታን መዘኻኸርን መልእኽተይ ክሰደልኩም ፍቐዱለይ።

መባእታ

ኩነታት ህዝብናን ሃገርናን፡ ኣይኮነን ንዓና ንድለይቲ ለውጢ ዜጋታት፡ ንኹሎም ለባማት ጎረባብትናን ንዓለምናን ከይተረፈ፡ ኣሰካፍን ኣዛራብን ጉዳይ ካብ ዝኸውን ኣይደንጎየን። ህዝብና ኣብ ዘመነ ህግደፍ ዘጋጥሞ ዘሎ ጭቆና፡ ኣብ ታሪኽ መዳርግቲ ዘለዎ ኣይመስለንን። ቅድም ቢሉ ከምዝተነግረ፡ አብ ኤርትራ፡ ነፍሲ ወከፍ ዕለት፡ ዕለተ ሞት ምዃና፡ ዘይፈልጥ የብልናን ክብል እደፍር። … “መድረኽ ለውጢ በሲሉን ሓሊፉን ክነሱ፡ ስለምንታይ ድኣ ኢና፡ ጥዑይ ኣእምሮን ሕልናን ወኒንና፡ ንድሕነትናን ንሓባራዊ ረብሓናን፡ ሓቢርና ክንሰርሕ ዘይከኣልና፧(?) … እቲ ሕልናን ኒሕን ልቦናን ኤርትራውያንከ ናበይ ተሰወረ፧” ዝብል ቀጥታዊ ሕቶ፡ የናውጸካ። ብዘይ ቃል-ዓለም፡ ሕመቕ ኤርትራዊ፡ ሎሚ በዚሑን ቅርዓት ወጺኡን እዩ። ከምቲ ለባማት ኣቦታትና፡ “ዘይሓልፈሉ ኣቦስ፡ ቦኽሪ ውላዱን እናት ግራቱን ይሓምቅዎ”“ “ዝበልዎ፡ ህዝብና ብህግደፍ ተጠሊሙ ጥራሕ ዘይኮነስ፡ እቲ ንዳግማይ ለውጢ ተስፋ ዝሃቦ’ውን ተስፋ የቑርጾ’ሎ። በቲ ኻልእ መዳይ ግን፡ ሎሚ ነቲ ካብ ነዊሕ እዋን: ተሓቢኡ ዝነብረ ገበናትን ኣደናገርቲ ሓሶትን መሪሕነት ህግን ህግደፍን፡ ኣብ ምእካብን ምስናድን ምቅላሕን ምብጻሕና፡ ሓደ መገዲ ፍታሕ ከም ምርካብ እዩ። ሕጂ’ውን፡ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ፡ ኣብ መሪር ጭቆናን ብርሰትን (ኤርትራዊ ኣብ ሸላታት ኤርትራ፡ ሲና፡ ላምባዱዛ፡ መዓስከር ስደተኛታት፡ …) እናሃለወ፡ ጉእዞ ቃልሲ ሓርነትን መሪሒነታቱን፡ ስለምንታይ ተደጋጊፍካ ምቅላስ ጌና ኣይተዓወተን፡ ብልክዕ ተመርሚሩን ተሰኒዱን፡ እቲ ፈራዲ ህዝቢ፡ ምኽንያቱን “እነመን ነበሩ!” ኪብለሉን ዘለዎ፡ ኣገዳሲ እዋን እመስለኒ።

ዝኸበርኩም መሪሕነት ባይቶን ፈጻሚ ኣካልን ኣባላቱን፡ ዝኸበርኩም መራሕቲ ውድባትን፡ ኣብዚ ዝሓለፈ ልዕሊ 2ተ ዓመታት፡ እቲ ተጋባእን ደላይ ለውጢን ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዘምበረልኩም ተስፋ፡ ከምቲ ዝድለን ዝግብኦ ውጽኢትን ከምዘይሓፈስኩም፡ እዋኑ ንባዕሉ መርትዖ እዩ። ኣብ ከምዚ ዝበለ ተሃዋሲ ኩነታት ሃገር፡ ንዲሞራስያዊ ለውጢ ዝኣወጃ ውድባትን ባይቶን፡ ከም መደበን ከይሰርሓ ክንድዚ ክጸንሓ፡ ምስ ገበን ክቑጸር ዝኽእል እዩ። እቲ ዝበሃል ዘይምኽኑይ ምኽንያታት፡ “ሓደ ካብቲ ከስርሕን ከረዳድእን ዘየኽኣለ፡ እቲ ናይ ጉባኤ ሕጋዊ ሰነዳት (governing documents)፡ ብንጹር ቃላት ስለዘይተነድፈ (clear-cut provisions) እዩ” ዝብል እዩ። እዚ ግን ብቁዕ ምኽንያት ኣይብሎን። ከመይ ኣብ ዝኾነ ሕጋዊ ሰነድ፡ ብንጹር ቃላት ዝተነድፈ ዳርጋ ውሑድ እዩ። ግን እቲ ህልውና ንጹር ዕላማ’ቲ ትካልን ተወፋይነት (ተጸምዶ) መሪሕነትን፡ ነቲ ዘጋጥም ዘይንጹር ቃላት (ዓናቅጽ)፡ ይገልጾን የብርሆን። እቲ ናይ ብዙሓት ተረድኦ ግን፡ ጠንቒ ናይቲ ኣብ ኤሃባዲለ ከስርሕ ዘይከኣለ ፍልልያት፡ ካብቲ ኣብ ውድባት (ኪዳን) ዘሎ ዘይምትእምማንን፡ ዘይብሱል ዲሞክራስያውነትን፤ ንመዝነት (ስልጣን) ከም ኣገልግሎት ንረብሓ ህዝቢ፡ ክርኢ ዘይምኽኣልን፤ “ኣነ/ውድበይ እንተዘይመሪሑ፡ … ኩሉ ይበተን” ብዝብል ጸረ-ዲሞክራስያዊ መከትል ምኻድን: ዝፈላልየካ ነገራት ምኽዓትን፤ ንድሕነት ሃገርን ንሃገራዊ ዲሞክራስያዊ መትከላትን፡ ከም ሃገራዊ ሓባራዊ ረብሓ ቀዳምነት ክትህቦም ዘይምኽኣልን፡ ዝኣመሰሉ ጉድለታት ዝተወልዱ ይመስሉ። ብተወሳኺ፡ ነዚ ድኽመት እዚ፡ እቲ ኣብ ጉባኤ ኣዋሳ ዝተገብረ፡ ሕረያ ናብ መሪሕነት ባይቶ፡ እኹል መጽናዕትን ቅጥዕን ከየማልአ ምምጻኡ፡ ዘኣመሰለ ዘጋደዶ ይመስል።

ዝኸበርኩም መሪሕነታት፡ ብርግጽ ጉዕዞ ፖሊትካዊ ቃልሲ ስለዝኾነ፡ እዚ ናይ መውዳእታ መድረኽ ቃልሲ ኣይኮነን፤ ግን እቲ ዘይምኽኑይ ፍልልያት፡ ከም ምኽኑይ ተወሲዱ፡ ከይተፈትሐ ናብ ኣሳናዳኢ ሽማግለ ን2ይ ጉባኤ ሊሒሙ፡ እቲ ሕማም ከይቕጽል፡ ብዓቢይ ሓላፍነትን ሕልናን ክትሰርሑ ንምሕጸነኩም ኣሎና። ኣብ ዓውደ-ፖሊቲካ ንዝህሉ ናይ ኣረኣእያ ፍልልያት ተጻዊርካ፡ ነቲ ቅዱስ (noble) ሓባራዊ ሃገራዊ ዕላማ ኤሃባዲለን፡ ደራኺ ኩነታት ህዝቢ ኤርትራን፡ ቀዳምነት ሂብካ፡ ኣብ ዓወት ምብጻሕ፡ ዓቅምኹምን ሓላፍነትኩምን ምዃኑ ከዘኻኽረኩም ጥራሕ እደሊ። እቶም ኃያል ስነ-ምግባር እምበር፡ “ኣብዚ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እዚ ተማሂሮም” ዘይትብሎም ለባማት ኣቦታትና እንኪምዕዱ፡ “ልብን ሳዕርን እናሓደረ’ዓቢ” ዝብሉዎ፡ ንሎሚ ካብ ትማሊ ዝበለጸት ምግባራ፣ ወትሩ ተሓዲስካ ምብጋስ፡ ግቡእ መርኣያ ህልዋን (ወይ ምዕባለ) ምዃኑ እዩ ዝግለጽ። ብወገነይ፡ ናብቲ ሽግር ወይ ፍልልይ ኣትየ ብዝርዝር ክዛረብ፡ ብቕዓት ኮነ ኣፍልጦ የብለይን። ግን ነዚ ኣብ ቅድሚ ኤሃባዲለ ዘሎ ኣሰካፊ ጉዳይ ኣመልኪተ፡ “ሓጋዚ ዶኾን ይኸውን” ዝብሎ ሓፈሻዊ ሓሳበይ ወይ ርኢቶይ፡ ወስ ከብል።

  1. ዘይምስምማዕ (ሽግር) ዝህሉ፡ ንስለ ክፍታት ጥራሕ እዩ፦

ሽግር ወይ ፍልልይ፡ ኣብ ዝሰርሕ ኣካል ዘጋጥም፡ ናይ ጥዕና ምልክት ምዃኑ ይፍለጥ፤ ዘጋጥም ድማ፡ ንክፍታሕ ምእንቲ እዩ፤ እቲ ፍታሕ ንኹሉ ብዝበለጸ ስለዘርብሕ ይምረጽ። ብተወሳኺ፡ ወላ’ዃ ባህርታት ናይቲ ፍልልያት ወይ ሽግራት ክፈላለ እንተኸኣለ፡ ከምኡ፡ ንፍልልይ ወይ ሽግር፡ መጀመርያ ብትሕዝቶ ክትመዝኖን፡ ብኸመይን ኣበይናይን ትገልጾ’ውን ወሳኒ’ዃ እንተኾነ፡ ግን ኣባላት ጨንፈርን መሪሕነታት ቦይቶን ፈጻሚ ኣካልን፡ ጸገማት/ፍልልያት ከምዘሎ፡ ፈሊጥኩምን ኣፍሊጥኩምናን ኣሎኹም። ሽግር ከምዘሎካ ብቕንዕና ምፍላጥ ድማ፡ ሓደ ደረጃ ናይቲ ፍታሕ ምጭባጥ ምዃኑ፡ ኩሉ ዝፈልጦ ሓቂ እዩ። ብርግጽ ብፈሊጥ ዝህነጽ ወይ ናይ ዕላማ ፍልልይ ወይ ሽግር፡ ካብቲ ካልእ ፍሉይን፡ ዘይወትርግ መገዲ ኣፈታትሓ ዝኽተልን እዃ እንተኾነ፡ ሓባራዊ ዕላማኡን ግን ፍታሕ እዩ። እቲ ናይ መወዳእታ ሚዛን (ወይ ደፋኢ ሓይሊ) ናይ ፍታሕ፡ ምውሓስ ክብሪ ሰብን ዕላማን እቲ ትካልን ማእከሉ ይገብር። ኣብዚ ክጥቀስ ዘለዎ ቀንዲ ነገር፡ እቲ ጉዳይ ወይ ትካላዊ ኣከያይዳ ብቐንዱ፡ ብምኽንያት “ጭቖና ህዝቢ ኤርትራን መፍቲሒኡን” እዩ። በዚ መንጽር’ዚ፡ እቲ ንኤሃባዲለ “ንኸይሰርሕ ከልኪሎሞ” ዝበሃሉ ዘለዉ ፍኽሰት ፍልልያት፡ ምስቲ መሰረታዊ ብርሰት ዘጋጥሞ ዘሎ ህዝብን ሃገርን ኤርትራ ፈጺሙ ዘይመዛዘን እዩ። እዚ ድማ ዘይብቑዕ / ዘይምኽንያታዊ ፍልልይ ዝገብሮ።

 

  1. ዕላማን ዕማምን (ተልእኮን) ሓላፍነትን (ስልጣንን) ኤሃባዲለ፡

ፍልልያት ወይ ሽግራት፡ ካብ ሓደ ባዶ ሃዋህው (abstract) ኣይውለዱን እዮም። እንታይ ድኣ፡ ኣብ ሓደ ዕላማን ራእይን ዘለዎ፡ ካብ 2ተ ንላዕላኢ ዝባላቱ፡ ትካል ወይ ማሕበር ዘጋጥሙ እዮም። ኤሃባዲለ፡ ብመስርሕ ዋዕላ ኣቃቂ(ኣዲስ ኣበባ) ሓሊፉ፡ ኣብ ጉባኤ ኣዋሳ ዝተወልደ፡ ንብዙሕት ኤርትራውያን ፖሊቲካውያንን ዘይፖሊቲካውያንን ናይ ለውጢ ውድባትን ማሕበራትን ውልቀሰባትን ዝሓቖፈ፡ ናይ ፖሊቲካን ሃይማኖትን ሕብረ-ብሔራትን ብዙሕነትን ምክብባርን ዝኣምን፡ ልዕሊ ኹሉ ግን፡ ናይ ዕላማ ሓድነት ወይ ሕብረት ዘለዎ፡ ኤርትራዊ ትካል ወይ ጽላል እዩ። ሓፈሻዊ መሰረታዊ ዕላማ ኤሃባዲለ ከኣ፡ በዘን ክልተ ዓረፍተ ነገር ክግለጻ ይኽእላ፦ 1) ነቲ ካብ ባዕዳውያን ገዛእቲ ዝገደደ፡ ዘይዲሞክራስያዊ ጮቛኒ ጸረ-ሰላምን ማዕርነትን ዝኾነ ዲክታቶራዊ ስርዓት ህግደፍ፡ ሓቢርካ ምእላይ፤ 2) ኣብ ቦታኡ፡ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ዲሞክራስያዊ ቅዋማዊ ስርዓት ምእንቲ ክተክል፡ ንመሰጋገሪ መድረኽ፡ ንኹሉ ዜጋ ዘሳታፍን ሰላም ዝሰፈኖን፡ ጥጡሕ መድረኽ ምርግጋጽ። መሪሕነት ኤሃባዲለ ድማ፡ ከም ሓደ ኣካል ናይቲ ትካል፡ ዕላማኡ ንምትግባር ዝተፈላለየ ዕማማትን (tasks / functions) ሓላፍነታትን (responsibilities, powers) ተዋሂብዎም ይሰርሑ።

ብሕጋዊ ትንተና፡ መሰረታዊ ዕላማን (purpose)፡ ስራሕ ወይ ዕማምን (task or function)፡ ሓላፍነት ወይ ስልጣንን (responsibilities or powers)፡ ተነጻጺሎም ዘይከዱ ወይ ዘይትግበሩ፡ ኣዕኑድ ናይ ሓደ ትካል እዮም። ከምዚ ብምባልና፡ ጽኑዕ ምእትእስሳሰርን ሓድነትን ናይ ዕላማን ዕማም መዝነትን፡ ናይ ኤሃባዲለ ክነመልክት ንኽእል። ዕላማ (purpose)፡ ነቲ ኣብቲ ምሉእ ሰነድ ዘሎ ሓፈሻዊ ዕላማን መንፈስን ራእይን ናይቲ ቲካል (ኤሃባዲለ) ማለት ድኣ’በር፡ ኣብቲ ሓደ ፍሉይ ዓንቀጽ ተዘርዚሩ ዘሎ ዕላማ (aim) ማለት ጥራሕ ኣይሕጸርን። ስለዚ፡ ኣብ ዝርዝራት እቲ ሕጊ (ዓንቀጽ) ንዘጋጥሙ ኣሻመውቲ ወይ ዘየሰማምዑ ቃላት፡ እቲ ኣብ ምሉእ ሰነድ ዘሎ፡ ሓፈሻዊ ንጹር ዕላማን ራእይን (teleological method of interpretation) እቲ ትካል ክንበብን፡ ከምኡ፡ ነቲ ትካል ንኸይሰርሕ ኣብ ምሕንኳል ዘይኮነስ፡ እንታይ ደኣ፡ ውጺታዊ ኣብ ምግባርን ዝጠመተን ጉዕዞ (principle of effectiveness)፡ ምዝውታር ሓጋዚ ይኸውን። ካብዚ ክልተ ዓይነት ጠመተ ወጻኢ ዝኸይድ ግን፡ ምስቲ ህልውናን መንፈስን እቲ ትካል (ኤሃባዲለ) ብቐንዱ ኣይቓዶን። ከመይ፡ ኤሃባዲለ ስለምንታይ ከምዝተመስረተ፡ ንባዕሉ ዕላማ ስለዝኾነ፤ ስለቲ ዕላማ’ቲ ክሰር ድማ ናይ ግድን ስለግባእ። እዚ ድማ፡ ብዲሞክራስያዊ መገዲ ብሕቱ ዘይኮነስ፡ ተኣማንነት ኣብቲ ዕላማ’ቲ ትካልን፡ ርትዓዊ ንባብ ህልው (እማናዊ) ኩነታትን ከማል ይግደድ።

መደምደምታ (ኣጠቓላሊ ሓሳብ)፡

ነቲ ጸረ-ኤርትራ ዝኾነ ህግደፍ ንምጉሓፍን፡ ዲሞክራስያዊ ቅዋማዊ መንግስቲ ንምትካልን፡ ዘራኽበካን ዘቃልሰካን መሰረታውያን ናይ ሓባር ዕላማ ካብሃለወ፡ ካልእ ብናእሽቱ ጉዳያት፡ እሞ ህዝቢ ኤትራ ኣብ ዝበርሰሉ ዘሎ ግዜ፡ ክሳብ ክንድዚ ካብቃልሲ ጠጠው ምባልን፡ ንናይ ቃልሲ ወኒ ህዝቢ ምዕጋትን፡ ተሓታትነት ኣለዎ። ከመይ እቲ ጉዳይን ሓላፍነትን፡ ካብ ህዝብን ንህዝብን ስለዝኾነ (principle of delegation for social purpose/interest)፤ ብባህሪኡ፡ ማሕበራውን (ሞራላውን) ተሓታትነት ኣለዎ (principle of social/political accountability)። እዚ ንኤርትራውያን ኮነ ንፈተውቲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ኣሕፋሪ ዝኾነ ተርእዮ’ዚ፡ ኪቕጽል ኣይግባእ።

ህግደፍ ስም ኣይኮነን፣ ዓሌት’ውን ኣይኮነን፤ ህግደፍ ልዕሊ ኹሉ ኣተሓሳስባ እዩ፣ ካብ ኣተሓሳስባኡ ዝውለድ፡ ፋሽሽታዊ ተግባራት ዝፍጽምን ዝውንን ጉጅለ እዩ። ንተግባርን ኣከያይዳን እምበኣር፡ ኣተሓሳስባ እዩ ዝወልዶ። እቲ ኣብ ልዕሊ ህግደፍ፡ “ለውጢ” ዝኣወጀ ኣካል (ፖሊቲካውን ሲቪካውን ውድብ)፡ ገዛእ ርእሱ ኣባል መድረኽ ለውጢ ምዃኑን፡ ምስ ደላይ ለወጢ ውጹዕ ህዝቢ ዘተኣሳስሮ፡ ገለ ጭቡጥ ነገር ክገብርን ክህልዎን: ኣብ ትካላዊ ዲሞክራስያዊ ኣሰራርሓ ጽኑእ ምዃንን፡ የድሊ’ሎ። ብሓጺር ኣገላልጻ፡ መድረኽ ለውጢ ገዲፉና ኣብዝተዓዝረሉ እዋን፡ ኣብ ህላዌ ደምበ ተቓውሞ፡ ናይ ኣተሓስባ ለውጢ ኣብ ተግባር ከርኢ ይድለ ኣሎ። “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking [behaviour] we used to created them”, ስነፍልጠታዊ ምኽሪ እቲ ብ1921 ናይ ሰላም ሽልማት ዝተቐበለ፡ ሊቅ ኣልበር ኣይንስታይን (Albert Einstein)።

      Genuine Eritreans,

      The metaphore of woyane and its types is the wily fox. And I am not fastening this name on them to simply portray them in the worst possible picture, not that I do not despise them, I do do despise them from the bottom of my heart, but because they are truly foxes.

      Bear with me because I am going to back up my assertion with their disgraceful behavior, current and past, that I often invoke to teach my young Eritreans not fall into their treacherous trap.

      As a backdrop, I like to demonstrate the root causes of their untrustworthiness:

      Our folklore depicts as foxes those people who are of morally reprehensible nature, such as flatterers, sycophants, flip-flops, forked tongues, sellouts, spineless cowards, toads etc.

      On the other hands, people of morally upright, foursquare in war and peace etc. are represented in our folklore as lions.

      Now, lets look back into the history of woyane as away of showing its very foxy nature;

      Ques. Did woyane start its struggle to liberate tigrai on its very land?

      Ans. Absolutely, not. They did not have a nerve to start on their own land. They flocked to us.

      Ques. Why did we accept, train, arm them?

      Ans. Because, unlike EPRP, they readily accepted our cause, that the Eritrean cause was colonial.

      Ques. Were they consistently dependable on their word throughout liberation struggle?

      Ans. Absolutely, not. In 1984, soon after the disintegration of Abai Jebhai, wrongly convinced that the Eritrean Liberation Forces was weakened, they had exhibited their treacherous nature. Dergi got wind of their quarrel with the Mighty EPLFs, and fell on them like avalanche. Woyane was devastated.       Ques. Did woyane try to undo Eritrean Sovereignty after independence?

      Ans. Yes. The 1995- 1998 border instigation it undertook was predicated upon igniting war that it erroneously believed it could win.

      Ques. Did it plan the war on it own?

What do we learn from the fact that the victim, Eritrea, was made to look like the aggressor, and that the Commission to investigate the prior condition that led to the war was never set up by the UN, and that the con artist isaias afeweerqi never bothered to insist on its establishment ?

      Ans. We learn that we, the genuine Eritreans ,are Hostages, hijacked by tegaru–> isaias and woyane, in collusion with their western surrogates.

      Remember, the con artist isaias afeweerqi was obligated by international law to inform the UNSC/OAU before launching the war on Ethiopia. The reason he bypassed the International Law was obvious, to bring about the war he conspired with melse zenawi.

      And the reason he did not insist on the UN to comply with Algiers Treaty and establish the commission to investigate the conditions prior to the war is because he knows that he would be implicated if the investigation went through.

    Your intentions and analysis and your resolution are perfect. You are missing one core thing sir! like you said ህግደፍ ስም ኣይኮነን፣ ዓሌት’ውን ኣይኮነን፤ ህግደፍ ልዕሊ ኹሉ ኣተሓሳስባ እዩ፣ ካብ ኣተሓሳስባኡ ዝውለድ፡ ፋሽሽታዊ ተግባራት ዝፍጽምን ዝውንን ጉጅለ እዩ። The problem with opposition is they don’t realize PFDJ always infiltrates them and creates divisions and work hard to destroy them. I don’t believe the opposition is weak or mentally incapable or not democratic enough, for in any democratic movement because of its attempt to make everyone participate there will be flaws. That we have to accept. I believe some of our main problems are:
    1. We can not distinguish between friends and enemies within the organization we want to establish.We need to accept PFDJ is a well oiled political machine and is able to infiltrate. Create mechanisms to fight this infiltration.

    2. We don’t have broad based constitution. We let PFDJ destroy the constitution that was ratified by the people in May 1997. At least as Eritreans we should take that as our common guide line. This was the only unanimous voice of the people in the last 17 years.

    3. We must make the constitution alive, by electing a President & cabinet in diaspora. Let’s have a democratic government in exile run by the constitution.

    4. If the opposition is for the people, then by all means let’s see them help the people who were victimized by PFDJ and fled the country. Eritrean refugees are roaming around the world without any sense of belongingness and ultimately they are starting to support the very government that victimized them. Oppositions should work hand in hand with activists around the world to support Eritreans around the world.

    5. The leaders should be diplomats who are able to establish contacts with leaders around the world for material and moral support.

      Dear Zeray,
      To certain extent, I agree with the point you have stated in the beginning of your writing and at no 1. However, I am not sure about the rest ponts you have mentioned.
      Firstly, the age and development of dictatorship in Eritrean goes far more to PFDJ’s destruction of the 1997 constitution; we can raise a lot of questions, among the core ones area: the missed post-independence (1991) national reconciliation, to let Sawa as a single mentality of military training (not as a comprehensive formation for good citizens) for youngsters, the process of the 1997 draft constitution …etc. However, if the May 1997 Constitution was fully implemented (though this was almost a dream for me), some sort of democracy may have been emerged in Eritrea. But to me this was far from practice. In fact, the PFDJ has demonstrated the exact nature of itself – as the PFDJ drafted it, it destroyed it. What do you expect? It has been long time since the history of EPLF was become the history of and for one man system.
      Regarding the points you have stated in nos 3-5, I am of the opinion that we must have a united struggle to demise the despot & totalitarian regime, and this is the priority to our mission at this moment, and every one of us, the peace & justice loving, should participate into this struggle. Everything else can follow to this.
