ኣምባሳደር ዑስማን ካብ ኣስመራ ናብ ኢማራት ምስ ነቐለ ብሓለፍቲ ጸጥታ ምልካዊ ስርዓት ኢሳይያስ ካብ መገሽኡ ደው ከምዝብል ተገይሩ፣ ኣብዚ እዋን’ዚ ቤትጽሕፈት ኤምባሲ ናይቲ ስርዓት ብዘይሓለፍቲ በረውረው ኢሉ ተሪፉ ከምዘሎ ተፈሊጡ።
እዚ ከምዚ ኢሉ ኸሎ፣ እቲ ንስርዓት ኢሳይያስ ዝራሕርሐ ቀዳማይ ጸሓፊ ኤምባሲ ስርዓት ኢሳይያስ ኣብ ኢማራት ዓረብ ዝነበረ ኣልኣሚን ናፍዕ፣ “ እቲ ስርዓት ንክብርታት ሕብረተሰብ ኤርትራ የዕንዎ ስለዘሎ ክገድፎ ከምዝተገደደ” ኣገልግሎት ዜና ቱርኪ (Anadolu Agency) ንመግለጺኡ ብምጣስ ኣብ ዝዘርግሖ ሓበሬታ ኣረዲኡ።
ንሱ ኣብ መግለጺኡ፣ “እቲ ህዝቢ ኤርትራ ምእንቲ ሓርነትን ዲሞክራስን ንዓሰርተታት ዓመታት ዘካይዶ ቃልሲ፣ ብወልቀ መላኽነት ኢሳይያስ ኣፈወርቂ ተባሒቱ ባኺኑ እዩ” ብምባል፣ ከምቲ ብጸብጻብ ውድብ ሕቡራት ሃገራት ኣብዚ ቐረባ እዋናት ዝተሰነደ እዚ ዝሓለፈ 24 ዓመታት ብግህሰት ሰብኣዊ መሰላትን ውድቀትን ዝልለ ከምዝነበረ ኣገንዚቡ። በዚ ምኽንያት፣ ነቲ ምልካዊ ስርዓት ክህቦ ዝጸንሐ ኣገልግሎት ደው ከብል ከምዝወሰነ ‘ውን ኣረዲኡ።
ኣብ 1993፣ 2001፣ 2013 ነቲ ስርዓት ንምቕያር ኣብ ውሽጢ ሃገር ዝተወስዱ ስጉምታት ከምዘይተዓወቱ ብምጥቃስ ከኣ፣ “ማሕበረሰብ ዓለም ኣብ ቅድሚ ‘ቲ ዓይኒ ዘይብሉ ጃምላዊ ምግሃስ ሰብኣዊ መሰላት ኤርትራ ከምዘይረኣየን ከምዘይሰመዐን ከጽቅጥ ኣይግባእን ‘ዩ” ብምባል፣ ኣብ ልዕሊ ምልካዊ ስርዓት ኢሳይያስ ጸቕጡ ከዕቢ ጸዊዑ።

Thank you, brother. That is what I do not understand. The questions that persistently nag me and others who think on similar lines are: Do those writing negative comments about defections really want the regime face its final fate? Why does the obsession to revenge on everybody in the hostile camp blind them from seeing the fact that changing the alignment of forces in favour of their cause makes the demise of the dictatorship easier, faster, and achieved with less sacrifices? I advise them to read how the West was successful in making communism face its final demise. Read the history of the apartheid too. In short, history is full of thousands of examples where internal defections eroded strong regimes and made them finally succumb to the wishes of the people. Why do some think that an Eritrean who had allied himself with the wrong camp needs their permission to change his mind and correct his path? So, to change the alignment of forces in favour of the struggle against the regime, progressive forces should realize that they cannot confront a dictatorship as it is. They have to weaken it from inside by winning some and neutralizing others. Then it will be easier to give the final blow. These are among the ABCs of any struggle. (To be continued)

At the same time, it is our responsibility to liberate every Eritrean from the strong hold of the regime, it manipulation and malice by showing them a better alternative. “Kam Dorho Hish Keneblom Yebelnan.” Tell me, “Nemen Ekha Tegadfom?” Eritrea needs everybody on board. To do that, we need to encourage everybody to defect from the regime, and use them for the final blow. These elements know where it hurts the regime most, and they have the right to participate. If they had committed crimes against the people, they will have their day at the court one day, like any other Eritrean, irrespective of o which political organization he/she belonged. For now, nobody can deny him/her the right to participate in the struggle against the regime. In fact, I found former PFDJ members to be the most militant and dedicated in the struggle against the regime when compared with those who live on history, boasting about vague roles in the opposition. I am talking from the reality of the region where I live.
Opinions like “PFDJ is always PFDJ” are unproductive oversimplifications and generalizations that took us nowhere. We have been for over 2o years without going an inch up. Biases like these had been used to justify genocides in some countries. PFDJ cannot be a monolithic organization: not everybody has the same interest, level of sincerity to the organization and level of national consciousness are not the same too. Who were the youth we saw in the rallies in Geneva in that unprecedented number which shocked the enemy and surprised the friend? Isn’t that the result of mass defections from the PFDJ? If we start from these sound premises, then there are lots of youth to win and lots to neutralize. This is the way we cut the body from the head. I would be unrealistic if I believe I would face the whole formation as it is. This is the way enemy camps are devastated. WE HAVE TO READ HISTORY OF REVOLUTIONS.

That’s a million dollar question that need to be answered in due time , not now, Teweldemedhin. The more high ranking officials abandon the regime the merrier. We are even sending a call out to the entire EDF to round up the core hegdefits with their kingpin to KARSHELLI , and hold them there till their trial by the Eritrean people. This scenario is not far away.Let’s just wise up from now on , not to repeat the same past mistakes, and equipe ourselves to the teeth with the knowledge so that no impostors like him will lead us astray. I was raising the same concern when the former information minster ali abdu left the regim and was praised for his doing from some quarters.
To my knowledge he just left the regim cos he was told to report to asmara and didn’t wont to take the risk.
It’s just sheding a crocodile tears.

Unlike some ambassadors, senior diplomats, and ministers who have never said a single word against the regime by way of explaining to the public the reasons for their defection, we are glad that Alamin gave a clear statement, showing his divorce with the regime and that he belongs to the people; not to the oppressive officialdom. Unless the defected person (a former public figure) says it explicitly, the people would not know if the defection was a real divorce with the regime, or if the reason for the vague defection was opportunism, theft of public money, escape from exposure for embezzlement or corruption or conspiracy against the people, planning to serve the regime in disguise or join the sleeping cells.
Thank you, Alamin Wad Nafeotay; you proved to your people that you are not one of those who at least politically, “Zay Tawararede Hesab Zallowom”. Enjoy your physical freedom and freedom of conscience you deserve, and work closely with your people in their just struggle against the regime. You will one day go home with flying colours.
