ብመሰረት እቲ ሓበሬታ፡ እቶም ምሉእ ደገፍ ህዝቢ ድርኮ ዘለዎም ወከልቲ ልዕሊ ወርሒ ተኣሲሮም ኣለዉ፡ ኣቤቱታ ህዝቢ ድማ ዛጊት ሰማዒ ስኢኑ ኣሎ።

Yes, it is to do with land. How it works is, it is distributed only amongst the people who come from a named village. That is the law in Eritrea which has been there for hundreds of. years. Now the dictator is there and is destroying the law, history and value of our country.

DRKO is one of the villages or ADITAT in ZOBA DEBUB – NEUS ZOBA EMNI HAYLI so if you do not know how the land is distributed in Eritrean villages or ADITAT, because all the land belongs to the people who their forefathers and fathers were born in that village the land would only be distributed amongst the people of those descendants.
In regards to the phrase you made “if you attack tigrians , tigrians may support the isias regime and it could prolong his time before downfall.“ I do not see why we should refrain ourselves from saying what is good and bad. for our country, Eritrea what do Tigyans to do with this. We Eritreans have the right and obligation to talk about our country. This Tigryan man is not like he is denied to live or to rent a home but he is demanding to possess/own a land which does not belong to him in what so ever. The land which he is demanding belongs to the people of DRKO NEUS ZOBA EMNI HAYLI.
If Tigrains feel bad about this then it is their problem not ours because that is the law. The law applies even if the man was from other parts of Eritrea. Let’s not be surprised by this though because the DIA’s regime would do any thing to hurt Eritrean people and things like these are deliberately made to cause tension and hatred between the people.of Eritrea and people of Tigray.

What part of the info are you having the issue with? Is it the part an Ethiopian is claiming land that doesn’t belong to him? Or you think no body should be informed, when our people are being put in prison for saying this is our land and outsider shouldn’t be given our land? How is it “attacking” tigrians, to let us know what is the treasonous Isaias is doing? FYI, TPLF having been supporting Isaias for 20 years through no war no peace. After helping destroy our family unit, noting left for TPLF to destroy. Beside why should we bribe the TPLF with land for them to help the Eritrean people?

My message goes to the highly respected, a voice of hope and informative assena media. At this moment the people of eritrea and tigrayans are at our best time harmony so its not advisable to articulate such negative happenings. It does not stand the prevailing status of eri and tigray.

This is not happening because this man is from Tigray. Even if this man was from the neighbouring village he is not entitled to possess a land in the village. This applies to everybody Because that land is an inheritance it is not for sale or to share. It is a village not a city we are talking about.

Have you read the article and tried to understand the implication of giving land to an Ethiopian? Why are you in denial there are two countries one called Eritrea and second Ethiopia. Yes, tigray is in Ethiopia and Tigray people are proud Ethiopians in bad times and good times. Now, let us refresh your memory and take you back 20 years ago or help you google : Eritreans kicked out of Ethiopia for being just Eritreans. or having Eritreans parents. Therefore, No Eritreans should be put in prison for saying no outsider should have the right to our land.
Any body who has problem with the article being out in the open has deep issue and don’t care about the Eritrean people. Another question, if any Ethiopian/Tgray can take land from Eritrean, then why were the TPLF leaders for the past 20 years who put our brothers and sisters in camps, instead of giving them lands just the local?

The should have to be the same national law for all villages, towns and cities governing land issue(s). I support private ownership of land all over the country. Everyone can sell and buy land everywhere at a market price.

The land owners around cities have to agree to sell land either to government or directly to ordinary citizens. Else there is no way for instance for Asmara to continue to be capital city.
I am not saying Government or Higdef has to grab land and sell it to whoever pays them more.
Land that belongs to villages, away from cities, it’s a different story. But when the Government want build a school or clinic or any other thing that benefits the village, the same law should apply also there.
If it was not lawless Higdef, we should not be discussing land issues here.

In regards to some of you saying that Assenna should not have broadcasted these type of articles because of this and because of that
Assenna is a media and is only trying to be transparent. and that is the genuine nature of journalism- unbiased.
If these type of matters are not aired what then?
Because sovereignty starts from the very little villages – then to the towns -then to the big cities – then to the waters – then to all the borders – and then to the sovereignty of a country.
If this (DRKO’s) issue is not acted up on time then what do you do if somebody comes from anywhere and demanded your land/house/ property …etc? Do you cross your hands and watch or you fight for your land/house/ property …etc, because if you don’t, you will end up being landless/homeless and/or stateless.
