There is nothing new about Higdef profiling Eritrean Diaspora. They have been collecting a lot of personal data for more than ten years. If you are Eritrean passport holder you were already asked to give the same information, with the exception of a few details like phone number and email. Usually, Eritrean Embassies have some one who collects such data systematically and makes them available to resident Higdef agent. Telephone numbers collected are used to call people when the Embassy needs them for one reason or another. All data collected by consular section goes to Eritrea, you can guess who could be using them there. There are cases when the Embassy people want find a phone number of a person who does not come to Embassy because he/she happens to be a dissident, then one of Higdef operatives in the country is sent to get it from the targeted persons friends or family members, possibly without asking anyone directly. It’s used to know his/her contacts in Eritrea and what is being communicated. They cannot listen to thousands of calls made to Eritrea but select the most important ones, such as those of people involved in money transfer. So, when you call Eritrea, if you feel they are listening to your calls, use a number that nobody knows.

I am currently residing in Dallas, TX USA. I am very ashamed at the same time laughing hard to see the form. Even the US government would not ask you all the above questionnaires, unless, – you are a terrorist – (LOL). This should be an excellent lesson for those who left the country because of their situation in Eritrea, now they become supporters of PFDJ. Simply, they are telling you that “you do not deserve to be citizens, but may be a second hand ones, when we need to use you as a propaganda, we know where you are and we will call you then we would give you a different type of MENINET”. Be advised, there is nothing you get out of this declaration.

Eritrea is a unique country. They run from a dictator system to free lands and still under the influnce of the dictator regime ecept in ethiopia off course. To the srprise of all ethiooia is where eritreans can not be intimdeated by shabia.
So running away from eritrea is not a solution. My questtion is what can the rest of the world can do…?

Normally this type of criteria since its aim is for identification of the nation´s real citizenship identity, it should supposed to be functioned as soon as few months after Eritrea independence. Ok, that time because there was no threat that much or manipulation against Eritrean independence from Woyanes side, in contrary on favour of Eritrean independence because were sided, and almost all Tigrians were also happy by the gain victory own their side too, it is possible to say since that time serving citizenship criteria was not that much bad . But if Isyas regime was serious care about citizenship identity , the today´s new criteria supposed to be functioned at least before the 1997 by public ratified constitution started. because during that time already was started the Ethiopian side and Woyanes agression against our independence . But in contrary in PFDJ´s secret constitution what we we seen was when Eritrean citizenship decided by 2% tax contribution regardless origin. I brought this point not without reason, but i like to indicate now days those most PFDJ supporters as are woyanes and Demhaits it is.
