There is law in the countries you mentioned. If the law says regime supporters should be deported, you flip the next page and it will say oppostion supporters should also be deported.
Now, do you really want to procced with deportation?
we
You are wrong.
What do you mean by “opposition supporters”? All the Eritrean people who opposes the dictatorial regime in Eritrea are opposing, crime against humanity, atrocity against our people, and the outdated Marxist ideology.
Genu,
That might be the case but we are talking technicality. Western governments don’t understand what you are saying. All they know is there are regimes, and then there are opposition groups. If they have laws to deal with one side supporter, they would also deal with the other side. Remember Western democracies function on symmetrically opposing political parties that have symmetrically opposite policies on immigration and what have you.
We on,
It’s time to all western countries to look in to their refugee status. If they find refugee supporting the dictatorial regime in their native country, they should be deported back to their native country immediately.
A refugee is defined as a person outside of his or her country of nationality who is unable or unwilling to return because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, and membership in a particular social group, or political opinions.
Fana Samuel Asefaw and her family, and

You cannot be a refugee at the same time support the Eritrean government or regime that you fear persecution.
mahta ,and Twoway thanks for your feedbaack and i agree with both of you: we do not need a civil war in N America or in Europa ,we have had enough problems and shame already.
Tes,,..Thanks for understanding and when i say “you” i do not mean personally to you Tes .Instead i mean to all of of you who support the idea of confrontation with Guayla HGDEF participants.Mahta said in short “what goes around comes around”
Brothers ,we all of us including Guayla HGDEF participants have concerned about Eritrea and its ppl. But we have different understanding on its cause and possible solutions.,,,Let me try to illustrate by example of a Train and its passengers .
-A Terrorist train made in Egypt, exported to Eritrea 1961.
-Driver was assigned none other than the notorious out-law Shifta Awate .
-Some of our fathers understood clearly the madness of this train so,they did not want to be passengers rather they preferred pedestrians.
-Then came the students, you have heard “little knowledge is danger” Those students because they used to speak broken English ,they thought they know better than their wise fathers and jumped to this train.
-After Shifta Awate , Isaias took the driver role 44 years .He must be the most experienced terror-train driver in the world.
-Ok!Until 2000 most of us were passengers of this train. After 2000 the passengers started to walk out in every stop and the passengers become less and less. Now look ,it is a matter of understanding there were like Tesfay Tmnewo and his friends who walked out early. But like Drue and Petros etc took them 30 years after Temnewo and walked out .Jabir And Tewil took them 40 years and walked out.
-Do not surprise and you do not need to declare war on Guala HGDEF paticipants, they are on the same train where most of the Eritrean ppl were once .
So if it possible let us condemn all Guayls using our religious leaders. If not stay where we are ,we do not need any interference on personal cases and its result will be fatal.
You are an independent Eritrea denial. That makes you my friend, irrelevant to the Eritrean issue. You, as an independent Eritrea denial, you are asserting with your many of your comment, the current dreadful situation in Eritrea is not leadership fault. But it is because of the “curse” of Independent. You couldn’t bring yourself to see Eritrea as capable governing itself as any country. You don’t want to think an independent Eritrea is able to take care of her people. You don’t want to think the problem is poor leadership, incompetency and mental illness of the head of the GOV. You want the people who are supporting the ill advised HGDEF to cont stay on the train wreck called HGDEF gov. Why? because you want to say, see an independent Eritrea is not going to work. What is your hopes and aspirations? Well, according to your comments, may be you want “Tigray-Tigrinya” or Eritrea no more. I can tell you for a fact. There is many things you don’t know about the Eritrean people. Tigray-Tigrinya will never ever happen. I know I am going to be attacked by many people like you. But I don’t care! For those independent Eritrea denials, you are irrelevant.
Selam Genet
Are you genuine? You want only the truth? ,,,I can understand you and the others who like to raise the nationalist slogan as high as possible while i experienced this feeling during the so called border war.Even i used to quarrel with good friends of mine if i thought their contribution is not enough which i regret fully.
About Eritrean independence you are right.I do not believe on it but i wish to be proved wrong.,,Genet ,,I confess it was not easy to reach at this conclusion ,Yes it was a pace against my own 3 brothers.,,It started like this at my young age 1993
-The first pop-up to inexperienced young mind was “what is our difference with Ethiopians?”
-I want to stop thinking about this, instead simply to accept Eritrean independence. I said to may self ” after all who i am ?simple uni. student. All the Drs and Professors believe on it .So i must be wrong.”
-During my stay in the Uni.it helped me a lot.Eg the Drs and professors can make also mistakes.
-from 1998—2001 i became nationalist like you and stopped entertaining the devil idea.
-After 2001 the pop up came again “why did we need all this war ? What is our difference with Ethiopians?”
-But i never talked with any body ,it was taboo to put in question Eritrean independence.
-In 2004 after many ups and downs with my mind .I decided it was a NONESENSE Ghedli.
-In fact ,it was the most nonsense war in the world and the final goal become the extinction of my beloved Kebesa. Yes the extinction of my beloved Kebessa. The only Kebessa which i had,Yes the only KEBESSA which i had long time ago.
Teclay says,
“In 2004 after many ups and downs with my mind .I decided it was a NONESENSE Ghedli.
-In fact ,it was the most nonsense war in the world and the final goal become the extinction of my beloved Kebesa. Yes the extinction of my beloved Kebessa. The only Kebessa which i had,Yes the only KEBESSA which i had long time ago.”
now i ask Assenna to watch Mr. Teclay closely. we are concerned that intruders may be trying to disrupt our discussions. i have personally reported incidents like this one. and some commentators have been banned.
this is Assenna’s new rule which i copy and paste for you, Teclay. if you go on coming up with destructive nonsense i will have to report you. read it carefully:
“……. From now on though dear commentators including you ….., you will have to think before you write comments that in anyway shape or form insult Eritreans, Eritrean identity, ethnicity, culture, religion and languages. Assenna is not to be used by people who have radical agendas, be it Islam or Christian. Those who refuse to follow these rules will be banned. We need to be constructive. Thank you.
Dear Teclay
Good job for admitting who you are. Although I knew all along, we should have “Teclay’s coming out party”.
BY the way, if you love your country and want to advocate for your people, there is noting wrong to be a nationalist. Nationalist is not a bad word. It helps people to work together toward common goals; It helps people to be caring to one anther;
I find your attempts to divide Eritrea between kebessa VS lowlander or Christians VS Muslim very weak. “My beloved Kebessa” I don’t know, I don’t think your concern is so much about kebessa. I can’t put my finger on it, but there is more there. I hope justice seeker Eritreans are aware of this evil act. It is not new, it is not innocent act. It is part of a larger scale campaign to destroy Eritrea and to deny a chance to survive. What better way is there, than violent between Christians and Muslim. It is the perfect remedy to paralyze a nation to no return.
I am disappointed about your rationals for being an independent Eritrea denial. I expected, you would have more substantial explanation. “what is our difference with Ethiopia?” well, simple answer is nothing. We just don’t want to be together.
What is the difference between Germany and Austria? probably not a thing, But they are two countries. If you are an Eritrean and you have no other alternative country like myself, you need to reconsider your stand. Being an independent Eritrea denial is not a good idea. It is done! there is noway to go back.
Mr Teclay, Wars are none sense but it only depends on which side you are. For instance…Looking back if you ask the Germans about the second world war, they would tell you that Hitlers idea was nonsense as the result of that the war is none sense to them, but if you ask the Russians it was never been none sense war for them because it was not their choice, their country was attacked so for them it is a matter of survival it is not none sense anymore. If you are Ethiopian, like every derg wetader the war could be none sense to you because you shouldnt be there in the first place but not for us! Gehdli was a self defence! we didn`t do it out of choice!
Therefore brother to answer your question, why did we need all this war?? what we do if the war comes to us? entay kengeber neyruna tebel?? zebereqe tsehayna zenegese negusena?
Ato Teclay, your argument is simply based on entazey moyteken teEna aleken eyu…when the Federation was officially dissolved and Eritrea was annexed by Ethiopia. What other choice did our grand fathers had?? if you are telling me as long as if they were eating and sleeping they have to live with it! well, what can I say, personally, I wouldn`t accept, I feel that the people have to make the decision not anyone eles. For me fighting for their rights was the right thing to do…
Whether Ethiopia was a marginalised state was/is, let their history talk by itself, it all dependes how you see it, if you have amhara friends(especially one of the 500 amhars who used to run the country) they would tell you about a history 3000 years tsentsway…but if you ask other ethiopians like oromos, sidama, gambella, gurage, tigre, hames, adere, wolayta…they have a differnt version of ethiopian history…
BTW I proud of all the heros you mentioned, they did what is right at that moment, show sodidarity for their neighbours..I would do the same if I can! ironically, most of them murderd at the end by the Ethiopians….if you can call it cocidence…Anyway talking aout this issue is like trying to wake up the dead horse, lets concentrate on our problem and try to work hard how to build a better future for our country…

Teclay,
I believe that, if we have to discuss about the Eritrean poletics we have to atleast agree on the minimum term and that is we all have to accept and respect Eritrean independence. We should believe in One Eritrea! We shouldn`t put that to question! other than that we could have different opinion how to run the country, who to support and not support etc. That is the reason that I am against shaming and naming of the participants of the festival, for me they are simply Eritreans who dance with their flag on their hand, so even I don`t agree with them I have to respect their rights.
Don`t forget that there are many Ethiopians who came here and pretend Eritreans try to kill our time with that dead case…so I understand Assena`s decision for deleting your message as even democracy has its own limit!
I hope you would continue to discuss on relevant issues!
TeclayJuly 17, 2014

I am surprised really by your answer. You said “Don`t forget that there are many Ethiopians who came here and pretend Eritreans try to kill our time with that dead case” ,,,So what ? if Ethiopians participate in the form .Let alone Ethiopians. What is the problem if Indians or some one from the moon participate in the forum. One must deal with ideas not with personalities .That is the diseases of Eritrea.Narrow and narrow until MY-BET.If the case is only Eritrean or not Eritrean, why do they go down to become regionalists.Do not try to tell me it is not in Eritrean politics.
You said “We should believe in One Eritrea! We shouldn`t put that to question”,,Who has the right to draw the number of red lines ? No body has the right to draw a red line not i,not you ,not Amanuel No body .
About the Eritrean or not i do not know anybody`s percentage of his or her Eritreanism even Amuanue`S percentage ,i do not know.I am not interested also to know.
Brother you are living i think in the west you have to consider about your red line .

stop your nonesence and divistion betwean native Eritreans lowlanders and highlanders, We are not going to suffer because you crazy people with I. D crises are uncomfortable to become decent citezines of a country of your choice, either be Ethiopia or Eritrea. And did some one say what is the difference between us and Ethiopians? what kind of question is that. Then why don’t we just put every country in the world as the same, Austrian & Germens are the same people, how about Cannada and Americans same people–and so many more. WE ARE ERITREANS GET IT TO YOUR HEADS.
i wonder, if people understand the idea of the writer? if i understand he/she tries to show, how the asylem cases misused by Eritreans. Which means for me it is totaly right to expose the reality to the nation. It is not to wrong to side with the government (basic right) if you really belive it 100%. But that is wrong to tell the nation there is justice while u personaly seeking asylem for your basic rights. I said it “Doble Moral nation”.

All those people who are fearsly defending, the people who are supporting the dictator and PFDJ’s terror network, are definitely lost their way. Those are the painful drag in our progress for justice.
This story is very common in the current Eritrean situation. The root of the problme is not just people being selfish and they want their cakes and eat it too. However, those family who are contradicting themsleves are the Ex EPLF members who are mentally stock in the Gedli era. They are like cult members. It is just sad. they are still mentally chained to the idea of EPLF is everything. How do we tell them that EPLF is not PFDJ? Eritrea is an independent nation now. They probably need a team of psychiatric doctors. In the maintime, I support the listing of those selfish, cult members names. I also support any western country to look in to their refugee status. If they support the dictatral regime and think nothing is wrong, they should be back in Eritrea. It is only fair. There is no reason to be refugee of any kind.
Dear Genet,
How do we tell them that EPLF is not PFDJ?
For me they are all the same!! it is like asprin aspro! if your question meant how do we help them to join us to be part of our democratic movement.First what we have to change ourselves! we have to show them that we are really live on democracy not just talking about it and that we truelly believe in rule of law and human rights. Look what happen in Bologna demonstration, some justice seeker were not allowed to make a speech why?? does the oppositions belongs to some people only?? before facing our enemy why don`t we clean our house first? I believe our main enemy is our weakness not hgdf. Hgdf is living on our weakness…
Dear Mahta
When we review the history of EPLF carefully, we can see, it started out as a popular movement. But slowly and ruthlessly it was used as a coverup for the advancement of Isayas’s secret party. Now we know, the “secret party” was a secret to the majority of EPLF members and the rest of Eritrean people. Therefore, PFDJ’s network is an extension of Isayas’s secret party, but not EPLF. The result of that secret party is what we are facing now. That secret party and its’ extension network of PFDJ, had never setup to work for the Eritrean people. It was setup to ensure Isayas is in power, no matter what the consequences are to the Eritrean people. Therefore, what our former EPLF members need to know is the secret is out. They need to know that Isayas never shared the hopes and aspirations of the Eritrean people and former EPLF’s members. The evidence shows, Isayas has been unapologetic and consistent with his intention what he wanted from Eritrea right from the get go. For the most part the family who are contradicting themselves are those who still think Isayas shares their vision. There is evidence they are not capable to differentiate between Isayas VS the Eritrean people; EPLF VS Isaya’s secret party and its’ extension PFDJ. I don’t know about you, but this is how I see it. Thanks for your comment.
Selam Genet,
The way I see it is, EPLF and HGDF are the same…and they stayed the same all the way. The didnt change, their behaviour stayed similar through out their long history! The problem comes when we change, when they were EPLF, we were carried away by their gallant history of bravery! Therefore we didn`t have the opportunity to look at their evil side (or you can say the good out weight the bad). After they start to live with us, our perception is changed as we had that chance to see their other side which is the evil and ruthless deeds!! How stupid it may sound, even those right hand men like the G15 didn`t realize how ruthless their organisation can be and hoped to nogatiated with Isayas.
Therefore, for me I wouldn`t surprise if there are people who still didn`t give up and support hgdf. If you watch TV Eri , they seemd to live in the shadow of their rich past hsitory.Always they have many beautifull history to tell. So, I wouldn`t surprise if you watch TV Eri and nothing but TV-Eri, zuryaki geyreki selel ketebeli mesaten!
My last point is treating this people as criminals is wrong! It can`t be black or white, they think hgdf is a better alternative for many different reasons we have to show them that we are the better one. Holistic approach is needed…before making final conculision.
Dear Mahta
I can’t stand TV-Eri! Beside, I can see with my own eyes the damage being inflected on my country and people, by PFDJ terror network and the dictator. There is no need to watch fake news and distorted history. I don’t think the initiative “Naming and Shaming” is about treating people as criminals. Their situation, or why they are supporting PFDJ’s network and the dictator may not be black and white, but it is wrong. For most of us, it has been 15 years since we found out the PFDJ/dictator’s way of gov our country is wrong. it is about Right and wrong. They are on the wrong side of history. We begged them, we talked them for years. There is nothing left to do. So, the least we can do is to wake them up by “Naming and Shaming” them. A cult members are always a cult members. You mentioned G15 and all the others who tried to negotiate with a mad man. Because they are all psychologically chained to the dictator, they can’t even speak up when one of their own, were thrown in prison without due process. The bottom line, it doesn’t matter why they are supporting dictatorial gov in Eritrea. The “Why” question, is not justice seekers’ or the Eritrean people in Eritrea concern. Those zombies have to deal with the “Why” question. “Naming and Shaming” is the right approach. It is about right and wrong. Some people do right when they are afraid for themselves and repetition. Let us try it and see what happen. “Naming and Shaming” is part of the holistic approach. Thank you.

Genet-Original,
Thank you for your brilliant, distinction between HGDF AND EPLF, For the dictator it is easy to use and throw people, like you say Tesfay Temeno’s book/interviews and many others witnesses showed his triend of that. NOw days he is recruting new kind of blined supportes, people who never contributed to the struggle what so ever; even worse peopl who were against the freedom of the struggle. Does any body notice that this low ranking millitery officers are continue to die one by one,64, 50, 45 years olds just suddenly heart attack, accident? Am afried if we don’t do some radical changes right away, we the natives might end up loseing our country to NEW CITIEZENS OF NOW DAYS ERITREANS, THOSE PEOPLE WHO DANCING ON THE GRAVE OF THIRE PEOPLE. SHAMING AND NAMING IS THE RIGHT WAY. I WOULD ADD SLAP IN THIER FACE TOO LOL.

WE on,
A refugee is defined as a person outside of his or her country of nationality who is unable or unwilling to return because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution on account of race, religion, nationality, and membership in a particular social group, or political opinions.
Fana Samuel Asefaw and her family, and
Naomy Samuel and her family, their refugee status is in big????
You cannot be a refugee at the same time support the Eritrean government or regime that you fear persecution.

Mahta,Twoway,Tes and others
mahta ,and Twoway thanks for your feedbaack and i agree with both of you: we do not need a civil war in N America or in Europa ,we have had enough problems and shame already.

Dear Teclay
Good job for admitting who you are. Although I knew all along, we should have “Teclay’s coming out party”.
BY the way, if you love your country and want to advocate for your people, there is noting wrong to be a nationalist. Nationalist is not a bad word. It helps people to work together toward common goals; It helps people to be caring to one anther;
Mahta July 15, 2014
Mahta July 16, 2014

All those people who are fearsly defending, the people who are supporting the dictator and PFDJ’s terror network, are definitely lost their way. Those are the painful drag in our progress for justice.
Genet-orginal July 14, 2014
Mahta July 14, 2014
Dear Genet,
How do we tell them that EPLF is not PFDJ?
For me they are all the same!! it is like asprin aspro! if your question meant how do we help them to join us to be part of our democratic movement.First what we have to change ourselves! we have to show them that we are really live on democracy not just talking about it and that we truelly believe in rule of law and human rights. Look what happen in Bologna demonstration, some justice seeker were not allowed to make a speech why?? does the oppositions belongs to some people only?? before facing our enemy why don`t we clean our house first? I believe our main enemy is our weakness not hgdf. Hgdf is living on our weakness…
Genet-orginal July 15, 2014
Mahta July 16, 2014
Genet-orginal July 16, 2014
Thank you.
Eritreawit July 17, 2014
